Deserves an Academy Award. I'm sure this video has saved lives. Every time I have to fold this bag I think "I've got this, I don't need Pierre". But then, after fighting with handles and flaps for 30 minutes and rethinking my entire life, I come back and he's there for me. Patagonia, maybe it shouldn't take and oragami class to pack this thing?
Thanks for the demo - the key is getting those first corners tucked into the pouch - the rest fits easily from there. Patagonia should take a page out of the IKEA playbook and screen a simple diagram to the inside of the bag...
I have one and Patagonia did a really shitty job designing the pouch. they made it way too hard to unpack and repack. It's not even worth the trouble. Better to get a small stuff sack.
FOR ALL THE MONEY THESE DUFFELS COST, THEY NEED TO MAKE THE BAG SLIGHTLY BIGGER SO THAT THE DUFFEL ISN'T SO INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT TO UNASSEMBLE. TRY DOING THIS WITH THE 40L - ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE, I BROKE TWO NAILS!!
