This song is actually pretty depressing and thought provoking. Such a deep verse Macklemore wrote. He's talking about his sudden fame and the fact that it is so very different from what he once pictured and imagined.He talks about how he doesn't sleep and that he's rushing towards his death because he's always so busy everyday passes by so fast. He also says that once the world finally saw the art he made and learned his name he wished he didn't make it. Poetic and tragic. I feel for him, and I'm sure many celebrities feel this way.

Those who are able to see and understand the depth of this message expressed are the few whom were meant to understand it. However, those who do not follow the meaning were never meant to, those who say harsh words against it do so because they are unable to grasp the power and beauty. We all naturally attack that of which we don't fully understand. I personally find this to be incredibly deep and inspiring and I am excited to hear more of what's yet to come.
