People hate Enzo but the dude could kill a promo better than 95 percent of the current roster
That is simply a statement about current roster and how bad promos are today. Enzo is overrated as hell, repeat the same boring promo every time he came out.

Problem is, that's not saying much because 100% sound like that kid in first grade that couldn't read trying to read out loud in class.
Say what you want about Enzo, he wasn't the best wrestler but the guy could talk. I'll never forget that time on Raw when his mic acted up during his entrance then the whole crowd said his entrance promo. One of the coolest things ever.
But, no matter how many people say Zo was so great on the mic (and can talk better than the current talent), he'll always be a Could've Been - which is the advice Kurt Angle gave ("Don't be that guy people say "He could have been something").
He’d still kill it as a heel manager who occasionally interferes in the matches.

Ppl keep saying "the guy could talk". He was no different than Ross Dogg. He talked his entrance. That's all he did. He wasnt out there like the rock or stone cold or even shane douglas for that matter cutting promos youd never forget. He talked his entrance. He wasnt sone Whiz on the mic. He was mediocre at a time when most guys were poor. But he wasnt sone amazing standout on the mic.

Wrestling skills can always improve over time, Enzo has mic skills and charisma that no amount of "promo classes" can teach you. Huh, ironically "you can't teach that" does apply to him pretty nicely. He can make it in wrestling, I hope he gets another opportunity soon.

Keep in mind this was winding down Cena not still the face of the company, top guy Cena. If that was the still the top dog Cena and Enzo was a potential person to take his spot yeah he would have borrowed Hunter's shovel in a heartbeat. Not knocking Cena as that's just how it was, you want to be the top guy and stay the top guy you have to do what is necessary to ensure that as that's just how it was from the 1913 carny era to the previous decade.

It doesn't matter what you say about Enzo, he will always be WWE biggest miss. Enzo & Cass had the audience in the palm of their hand, they could had been the Main Event when it came to the Tag Team. Enzo shouldn't have never pulled that stunt at Survival Series because in case he needed a backup. He could had probably resigned.
And had he not made fenix or how ever he spelled it right after the court case being dropped I believe he probably could have been looking to either get resigned down the line or been a superstar at other endeavors.

WWE doesn’t like to not have complete control of the talent, which includes their growth and connection with a crowd. Enzo had such an organic relationship with the fans, and WWE hated that so much. They try to manufacture love for Roman Reigns and what happens? Backlash. Now he’s been struggling with his health issues, Reigns is now being regulated to a mid-card feud, why? Because they can’t control his fate after that health scare. They hate not having control, and it’s going to result in their ultimate eventual demise.
Or it's not all about what you like? If he was an asshat backstage and treated women like shit why keep him? They tried he had his chance he messed it up oh well no need to be a fanboy to a shitty man.

thehmc I think he was just over used/ cheapened. He was shoved down the audience’s throat same as anything else. WWE tends to go “Oh, you like this act? Let’s do it to death.”
WWE has been a huge creative failure since 1982. The only legit wrestling icons that have ever given it any credibility whatsoever (SCSA, Taker, Kane, Triple H, HBK and Sammartino, the last of which is dead now) are now too old to be able to carry the same kind of legendary matches that they were able to carry even as short as five years ago; Father Time has caught up to all of them as a result of this, and they're now in their 50's trying to keep the product from dying because the same man who killed wrestling as a whole is the grandson of a promoter from the 1920's to 1950's whose son (also a promoter from the 1950's until his 1984 passing) brought him into the promotion his dad made and things have been going to hell and back ever since. Who's the man I'm referring to? Vincent Kennedy McMahon.
