You can make them the evening before if you want, as long as you keep the finished pieces covered by large plastic bags in a room that has no open windows to keep the integrity of the latex intact as well as the luster of the balloon colors. If you make them in the morning they are guaranteed fresh but if you have a lot to do throughout the day it can zap your energy early on. You can inflate the night before (keeping all the balloons in bags overnight) and assemble in the morning, if you want to mix it up. Thank you for commenting.
Hey Sage, balloon sage. iv been trying out some of your designs lately and iv got a question cause i think I'm doing something wrong. whenever I do a quad to use as a foundation, one of them burst either during and/or after the process. sometimes they start to deflate after 1 day. The way I go about it is that I do an infinite loop once on each of the balloons on the quad using a 150. when I'm doing up a pillar using linkers, I tie it with another 150 and infinite loop on the quad again. is this too much. or is it something else. I pump 12" about 20 full pumps, the same with the linkers. iv been using Belbal brand balloons. Qualitex brand linkers and Sempertex brand 5" with a bubble weight at the bottom. I plan on gathering sand to make into weights soon.
20 pumps? Are you using a Qualatex hand inflator style pump or an equivalent? Because 20 pumps on a QHI is way over-filled. I would like to help if I can I just need a bit more info. I never really stick to one way of tying them all together, and if you watch my column vids (not centerpiece like this) you will see me be quite sporadic and the ribbon I use is twisted around several of the balloons, I go up a few quads, back down to the bottom and up to the top again before adding a few more - like that.
Thank you! I based this off of the Elmo idea you had, but i knew I couldn't do 260 arms or it would be too similar. Thank you for inspiring me every day.
Stean Balloon I stopped twisting for the last month on video because decoration videos make me money. I am working on the Macaw video right now, and i will be adding twisting back into my content more often.
Stean Balloon woah, he is awesome! I had seen some of his designs before but did not know the creator before now. He has an instantly recognizable aesthetic. The robots and swords were incredible. Thanks for sharing the info.
@@BalloonSage I see saw your videos & instantly had to try a couple of your ideas found it to be very therapeutic ha ,now I have people asking for prices that's why I asked anyways, I seen ppl do the tying method with fishing rod would you recommend it ? Thanks for the reply by the way
As long as it isn’t too windy these little decorations should be just fine outside for an event. The sun and wind will dull the latex over the course of the party but outside of ridiculous environmental turmoil they should impress the guests for the duration without bursting.
Great instructions thx so much!!! Well explained!!! Thx again
You explain balloons demonstration better than many
Ty!! Great instructions
You are so welcome!
Thanks for the idea. I will try it for my daughter's birthday.
I never thought sand can also be used as a weight. Definitely must try👏

Hi for the columns when do u suggest making them that morning or the evening before ?

Wonderful!
How much would u sell these for ?
Hmm - I’m not sure individually. I might make a bunch as centerpieces for a party. It depends on how cheap you can get the Hello Kitty heads.

Oh, with fishing line? Sure, you could do that. Probably stronger than ribbon.
@@BalloonSage okay thanks!
Thanks
“Kokolette” - what a beautifully unique name. Thanks for watching!

Are these outside friendly??

Can you do a cinnamon roll one please
What size is your hello kitty mylar
Hi! I don’t remember, as this video was made quite a while ago. It’s not a huge mylar, and it’s definitely not small.
Thanks, I appreciate your response. I ordered the 18 inch 😊
I’m I think that’s the one! Thank you
