It was a wonderful night with new guests and a full house again. Summer holidays! 🌞 It's so good to see everyone 🤗 This is a great time of year with family and friends. 🥰 While everyone is sleeping, I am focused on my hobby - learning the Russian language 😄 It is 4-44am 🌌🌠 Class will begin in 14 minutes 😊 I don't think I can attend every premier though, lol ! 😁 Thanks so much Nastya ! 💐🍎
I love to study when the house is asleep. I quite often walk the dogs at 11 or so, go and check on the ewes. When I come in, I put more logs on the stove, make a chai, cuddle up with a hound and hit the books! I admire your dedication, Lily, considering the time differences! And house guests! I can't wait for 'live' lessons again! Have fun, Lily! X❤
Thanks@@sashaluna805 ☺ I love your description of the walk with 🐶🐕and the 🐑🐑🐑. A cozy 🍵 with the "Hounds of Love" and some study! Yes, I look forward to those lessons too, although they are at a tricky time for me - evening meal time. Sending you a virtual hug as the 🌅🦘🦘🦘
@@besseder Thank you! The sun is up now as it is 6:02am as I type this. I have to go outside now to tend to chickens, the vegetable garden and my 🐐will want to follow me around. it's like having a pet dog, but with horns, lol !!! The rest of the household will wake up in a while. I'm the early 🐦🌅 as well as the night 🦉🌌🌠 What time is it for you? Cheers friend 😘
One common saying in english that is similar is: “He/she didn’t beat around the bush.” meaning they went straight to the direct point of what they were saying without being indirect or prefacing. In medieval times, hunters might hit the area around bushes with sticks in order to flush out game, like birds or animals. Indirect, gradual way of eventually getting to the target. NOT “beating around the bush” means figuratively skipping the step of drawing out.
@@tbountybay3080 Yes, absolutely. I just wanted to clarify that people still might be found beating about the bush.😂 Although that conjures up visions of Basil Fawlty, now I come to think of it!
Hi @dani,afliq 🤔 I don't think Nastya has time to create a B2-C1 class yet. A lesson without a full course - it might not be as helpful as you wish it to be. A gradual approach is better. Best wishes with your study.

I think this is difficult via YT, and maybe too few people interested. I suggest you look for private tutors. Why not book a course in a Russian town? There are many offers, all over Russia! No shortage of Russian language teachers...I wish you all the success you wish for yourself!
cogliere nel segno Мне кажется, что это выражение ближе к истине по смыслу, Франческо! Не так ли? Я нашла в интернете - Sono cosi' lontani dal cogliere nel segno? А что, они далеки от истины? Ещё мне очень понравилась ваша пословица - Chi trova un amico, trova un tesoro.😊
@@Russianlanguage Hi Nastya, and thank you for your attention! "Cogliere nel segno" (попасть в цель) is when one understands perfectly a meaning of something that has not been fully expressed (voluntarily or not). Instead "dire pane al pane, vino al vino" really means to be direct in telling the truth, without mincing words. In other words 'cogliere nel segno' represents the action of UNDERSTANDING, while 'dire pane al pane, vino al vino' represents the action of SAYING. It seems to me just analogous to "не в бровь а в глаз", but perhaps I've not fully understood the meaning of the Russian saying. And you are right: "chi trova un amico, trova un tesoro" is really beautiful! And we all have found a tresaure in you, Nastya! THANK YOU! 😘
I don't speak as often these days as I haven't been to Italy for a while. I email my husband's relatives in Italian & send photos as they like the bigger format via the computer, rather than by mobile. He has two sisters and a brother in Italia. Anche zii, zie e tanti cugini ! 😊
Да, в русском языке "заезженная пластинка". Это означает повторять что-то снова и снова в раздражающей манере. Фраза происходит от определенных характеристик виниловой пластинки или фонографической пластинки. Когда на виниловой пластинке есть царапина или разрыв, она может либо пропустить раздел во время воспроизведения, либо повторять один и тот же раздел снова и снова, пока игла вручную не переместится по пластинке.

They still employ beaters on estates to flush out gamebirds, such as pheasant, towards the waiting 'guns' and gundogs.
It's a good phrase, though.
