- A song by Ilene Woods released in 1949 to promote the upcoming Cinderella film, this is DIFFERENT from the version heard in the film and has yet to be released in any other album or format. It features a solo by Ilene. As much as I love the version in the film, there is something just as beautiful about this version that makes it stand on its own. It's about time this made its way onto TH-cam, I'll try to clean up the record and the recording to hopefully post a better quality version soon.

I watched Cinderella when I was about 6, and I never really appreciated this song as much as I should have.
Also when you wear headphones, you can hear the little "old timey tape" crackling in your ears, and it just makes me feel so at home. This version is beautiful. 💕💖
I think those sound make it so much special. It gives it a dreamy effect.

Yes, it's a shame Disney pretends these versions don't exist. They deserve to be properly remastered and preserved for all to enjoy. Ilene Woods did so beautifully with these singles and they have never been re-issued. :(

Yes, it's a beautiful song. It's the one that made me fall in love with classic music, a passion that has stayed with me all these years. I couldn't believe this one hadn't been uploaded after all this time, hopefully one day I'll be able to clean it up as well as the other one to have them available in a better quality since Disney hasn't made them available in any other format.
