Pfetch and Uname are probably about as far as I will go with fetch programs anymore. The smaller ones are far more sensible and don't make me feel like clearing my terminal right away.
As a new GhostBSD user I would love to a run down of your workflow and tools used to make your videos. Also do you have a Matrix space? I'm not a fan of discord.
I don't use Discord, and I haven't a clue what a Matrix space is..... but it sounds cool :-) I use Kdenlive, Audacity, Inkscape, Simplescreenrecorder and that's pretty much it.... oh and time, lots of time.... and folders.... :-)
I still usually just read dmesg or use another command to get live data. Never had a regular need to acquire+format the information so I've not been a user of these programs.
@@RoboNuggie Definitely need to grep dmesg or other sources (uname, sysctl, etc.) before its screenshot viable. Screenshots with more beauty requires pulling up ascii art (bootloader files had that last I recall).
That's an interesting question.... FreeBSD isn't supported, but there is an old article here : forums.freebsd.org/threads/install-oracle-11gr2-database-on-freebsd-9.41729/ I suppose installing it into a Jail and accessing it through that may be an option?
how in the world did we skip over bsdinfo?
Thanks for sharing this video.
I hadn't noticed before but your outro music somehow reminds me of Dr Who ... ? Are you a fan of the good doctor? :)
I an a fan, more of the classic series (that's because the 4th Doctor is my Doctor when growing up) :-)

Dmesg is a great way.... but I suspect it doesn't look as good in screenshots :-)
