I disagree about Art Angels having too many guitars. They made some of the songs sound really beautiful. The screeching guitars in "Scream" helped make the song sound so aggressive.

She's the definition of the word _captivating._ She's just a fascinating human being....and a legit creative genius. To me, she represents the best version of a truly 21st Century artist and musician. And she's not even _trying_ to do that....she just _is_ that. It's entirely natural for her. She was made for these times....and her music is like a breath of fresh air. I'm a pretty accomplished musician, I write my own songs, and I'm really into bands(like Tool) that are at the pinnacle of musicianship and creative talent. But Grimes is easily the most interesting new artist I've come across in years. I felt the same way the first time I heard MIA over a decade ago. I find it ridiculous how some people dismiss Grimes/Claire as an over-hyped musical novice. It's dismissive of her very real talent. Sure, she can't rip out some wanky Steve Vai solo....but so what?
