Ok, Riot brought me here and I am glad it did. I really enjoyed Sera's version, but the original hits harder. You can tell that she's sad because hyperfocusing in composing is keeping her away from other things/people and I can totally relate do that feeling. Inspiration comes when it wants, so you can't let it slip away, but feels bad ditching your friends and getting sleep deprived, even though you are doing what you love. Riot wanted to creat an image of a dreamer, so it makes sense that Seraphine's vibes are more like "I get so many ideas popping at my head and I can't get to stop. I have to give up on somethings, but I'm happy because I do what I love".
This is such a good song, and I'm really into the bass line! The lyrics make me so sad though, this is a very depressing song for those who haven't done what they wanted to achieve with their life.
