Update: At 3:04 in the video, I made a point that we had White Marans roosters. After further investigation, they are not Marans and are most likely Leghorns. Sorry for the confusion. No big deal, just a bummer that we won't get the dark brown eggs from the hens and their offspring.
Sean Emmanuel Elizarde , sorry Sean wasn't trying to be mean. These people are really nice. Duck needs are alike for me and it's not really possible to not make mistakes is it. Homesteading isn't so simple is it. I enjoy it when they share a day with us. And it's nice to hear from those who know allot about farm things. Just all for fun. It's maybe an English joke that doesn't translate.

The chicken you picked up has bubbles in its eyes whick is a highly contagious disease common in poultry that needs to be treated with tylan antibiotic. THIS IS URGENT I'M ONLY TRYING TO HELP xx

I love how the girls immediately started to warm up to their new home as soon as Quackers was introduced and now they just follow him everywhere.
Your kids live such a good life they're fortunate to have the life they have ☺
I noticed a complete personally change in Webby and Debbie when you introduced Quackers. There was no being standoffish and getting to know each other like in most animals they immediately knew he was boss and started following him around. Animals are amazing
Amya Martin that's sad. Stock are harder to keep alive sometimes. Yeah you have to keep checking up on things. Sometimes they die anyhow. We just keep trying and you get better at taking care of them. Laura Ingals Wilder was a keeper of chickens later on in life and she noted that they died off pretty regular as there was always something going wrong. She wrote articles about it all and they were published in her day.
Amya Martin , what state do you live in? I am way up in Canada. I can't help you. But maybe someone can. Sorry that you have to move and relinquish your ducks. It's a hard thing as you love them and they need to be taken care of. What kind of ducks do you have? What do they look like? Are they males or females? How old are they?

I was thinking the same thing. Peanutbutter or Molasses etc. Something sticky and strong smelling to draw them to it.

The way you live is literally my dream, my lifegoal. I couldnt imagine a more beautiful life. I hate the cities especially the big ones. At the moment we live in a small house outside of town, but it still quiet isnt what we want. We want the farm-life! Self-sufficentness and alot of animals to love and care for. I hope one day my dream will come true, and until then I'll just keep watching your videos while dreaming about all this being mine.
When there's a problem on the farm , the solution is more birds!
It seemed to work, Quakers seems happy and the girls seem to take to him quickly.

You may need to raise up the pig waterer. It looks a little low. The peanut butter trick that people are suggesting sounds like a good idea also. Love the new female ducks. They looked like they were happy to meet Quakers!
To encourage the pigs to investigate the water spout, maybe putting something like honey on it..? Or peanutbutter

So glad to see that Quackers is getting along really well with his two new friends. I think I even see him smiling.
You can help teach the pigs how to get water by putting peanut butter on it. When they try to get the peanut butter it sets off the water and after a few more times they'll get it.😉 pigs are extremely food motivated.

All 3 look so happy to be together. I think that Debbie is such a pretty colour. Hopefully the girls aren’t the jealous type! It would be lovely if you were able to get some chicks from both girls, fathered by Quackers!! I’m sure they would all make beautiful baby ducklings.

Congratulations on the new ducks, they are beautiful (Webbie actually looks like a pretty nice quality runner, she has great upright posture). Also, about your white "Marans," I'm pretty positive that they are, in fact, actually leghorns. Yes, Marans can be either clean-legged or feather-legged, but regardless, Marans should have red earlobes and white skin/feet. Your birds have white earlobes and appear to have yellow skin/feet, which is exactly what leghorns have. Also, Marans should generally be bigger, heavier bodied birds than leghorns (though this can certainly vary), and your birds look rather lithe and slender, again like leghorns. They are still handsome boys regardless. :) Anyway, that's all for now. Good night, and God bless you!

The Easter Egger looks like she has an Eye infection w the bubbles in her eyes
Bubbles , copious eye drainage and swollen eyes are the common symptoms of upper respiratory disease in Chickens. I would suggest she be treated with a good anti-biotic such as Baytril ASAP.

This is so wonderful. Webby and Debby immediately followed Quackers as though they had been waiting just for him all their lives. So precious. It is great to see them on the pond and they seemed to get the strength for swimming very fast. Adore your videos. It's cool how the ducks just get along that easily. I thought there might be some fighting at first but they seem to be pretty peaceful.

GoodQuestion by the way sheep I really like their wool and if you give them enough food the wool is thicker and The meat is a lot more tasty and if you kill if you butcher them. Then you actually get more wool while you butcher them. And love you ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤🤍🤎💗💓💞💕❣️💖💘💝.
