Our generation audience is not receptive ! Period :) Albums like lootera,fitoor,DevD,Aamir,qedarnaath,Andhadhun are an example of organic and unique composition skills which are not for everyone to be perceived as a sign of sheer brilliance …. tbh i was a Rahmaniac (Ar.Rahman fan) for a long time since I discovered Amit Trivedi. I must say he is an exceptional composer and music director in today’s times and that too an under appreciated one.

this movie, these songs, Ranveer and Sonakshi... the director made a masterpiece in Lootera. I cannot say how much it touched my heart.. I cry just thinking about it... I hope the general public gets to see LOOTERA and understand what a diamond this movie is.
The soundtrack is hauntingly melodious; the movie a work of art; combined together it is nothing short of a masterpiece - class all the way.
Definitely under rated but such is life whereby goodness and quality get overlooked daily.

What a master piece created by Motwani... Feeling sad for this movie as it did not perform well in box office because it didn't have vulgar songs, cheap jokes and dual meaning dialogues... What the third class taste Indians have these days as far as movies are concern.

The story of movie had been made according to the "Last Leaf" English Story. Manmarziyan song is best song. Sawar Loon & Ankahee is also great.
Highly disappointed Lootera music was not shortlisted in either screen awards nor filmfare. Amit trivedi deserves an applaud for his mesmerising tunes. Lootera a masterpiece

I AM SO IMPRESSED WITH THE RECENT GOOD INDIAN AND PAKISTANI MOVIES! NO MORE BUNDALBAAZ MOVIES. ENJOYED LOOTERA... EVEN IF IT WAS SAD. OTHER GREAT MOVIES I WATCHED RECENTLY ARE RAANJHANAA AND YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI.
Every now and then i come back to these songs. There is just some aura to it, such amazingly composed,written and performed. Dont find these kind of movies or songs in Bollywood movies any more. Truly a Gem ❤

I can't say about how actors acted, as I am not capable enough to evaluate their acting. But in terms of music, cinematography and direction I haven't seen any better hindi movie then Lootera.

A very well made and well acted movie ! Songs are also very different and help take forward the story.
It's like there isn't one of aspect which has been missing in this soundtrack.I'm speechless at how versatile Trivedi is.He's been delivering albums for every other film and yet has so much to offer from his soul.This album is my favorite Bollywood album ever.

I don't think lootera is either under or over rated. It is a fine blend of great storytelling, heartwarming melody, stunning visuals and power packed performances, all sugarcoated to convey eternal messages like-
--Every sinner has potential to be a sear if he can overcome the burden of past
--Love never dies and is all encompassing
--Only way to fill the void left after failed love or broken trust is to keep loving and never stop trusting
