Nice one. Good choice with the mower. Maybe just have the engine at a idle speed when operating the pto clutch. Takes a lot of stress off the driveline that way👍. Definitely a nice lawn you have.
Get a tarp and make a cut out to wrap around the tree right before you trim it then just drag it off and straight into the bin, that way less chance of little stick etc missed from the blower 😊
Looks great mate. Just a quick question how well does it hold its green colour during the winter months and do you get much invading grass from the grass next door from it being a slow growing grass. Thanks Luke
The green is up & down. Iron can help a lot but doesn’t last. Lawn goes very dormant through winter & loses a lot of colour, mostly due to a lack of direct sun. I spray a green pigment onto it usually once or twice at around June/July. Grass next door doesn’t invade because I run the edger between the grasses to keep a barrier. If I didn’t it would absolutely creep in & I’d imagine it’d eventually take over. I’ll upload some videos throughout the season to document its journey. Cheers
@@lawnlife1 Have you thought about asking your neighbour if you can install SGZ for them? May be easier to maintain and might even make your front yard appear bigger.. just a thought
That's a very nice mower. What were your concerns about the Supaswift, was it just overall build quality? I was considering a Cox mower since it looks a bit better. How are you also finding the size of the Scott Bonnar 17" relative to your front lawn, are you enjoying the size or would you have preferred the 14" more?
Visually the Supaswift looked cheap. But for $1700 I’m sure it’s good. My mindset was, if I am paying thousands for a mower why not pay a little more & be happy. 17” is perfect. I would never use a 14”. 20” would work on my 20sqm too. Good luck with your purchase.
He got it from Corbin @ Brisbane cylinder mower specialists. Corbin is a top guy to deal with & you won't have any trouble getting good advice from Corbin. I highly recommend Corbin.
Lars don’t listen to mr Portelli, the tree is a fantastic feature, kept as a tight ball on a thick trunk it will look amazing in years to come. It can only add interest, also you don’t come across as someone who would illegally cut tree down. Yard looks neat as a pin.
@@lawncarewithtim4896 Thanks for the compliment :) The tree is somewhat of a burden tbh. Because it’s a small area it does get in the way. But you’re absolutely correct, the tree does add character. No I would never do anything illegal! My comment was purely in jest.
Well done mate! Looks good, SGZ is better at 12mm or higher so you made a good decision there 😎
Good choice with the mower. Lawn looks mint. New sub here. Looking forward to seeing future vids.
Appreciate it. Love the SB. I’m now eyeing off a grooved front roller.
Good job mate - certainly got all the gear…….
And no idea? 😂
Nice bit of kit , kudos!
Your lawn looks amazing. I wish the area was bigger bcoz you seem to be an outstanding landscaper. Great video
What a lovely comment, thank you.

Thank you. That makes sense. Great advice 👍

What a great idea. Just like when you’re at the barbers.

How many square meters are you cutting there?
It’s a lot!!! A whole 20sqm 😨
Having a baby's good news?? Lol
Get rid of that stupid tree and you will be loving life.
I would if I could! Unfortunately the body corporate doesn’t share my opinion
