Thanks for the video, great insights. As a new player it's helpful to see interesting questions being asked, like the ones related to game mechanics. That said, for feedback I think it's good to play to your strengths, like the deeper, more technical insights and reasonings provided for your opinions. That's something that other CCs might bring less of, which for me helped to distinguish your channel from the others. As a side note, it almost feels like most of the dps units play more as burst dps, but maybe that's just due to Qingyi and low ER.
I agree about grace, The field time you need for grace is just a mere 4 - 5 seconds and swap for disorder. I Dont know why people specially CC's That I have witnessed do this a lot, It hurts my eye for some reason.
I feel Rina is required and works best with Anton but you also need Grace in that team. A lot of waiting for his energy to max out to make the best of burst mode but then you have to swap Rina in constantly to keep her buffs active. She reallty needs longer buff timers, espically for a 5*. Lucy's 600 atk lasts up to 15 seconds and can also be applied from chain attacks via eaiser to get mindscapes. Rina sufffers from too much swap in. And then with Caesar coming very soon she's going to vastly out preform Rina in every way and play far smoother out of the box. Head maid needs a few tweaks.
aw, man.. i didnt know you were taking questions. i really wanted to ask if you learned anything new about nekomiya teams. Like, what does she need from a character to pull out her full potential ? i feel like her additional ability and core passive are the trickiest things. it seems like she really wants to be doing dodge counter or quick assists for her core passive. And, for Assault to be procced like two times for her Ex Special Attack to do way higher dmg. Would she need an Anomoly unit, or a stunner, or a support to help her with these issues ? i know you mentioned that nekomiya's teams are pretty messy as of right now. You mightve said what she specifically needs, but i cant recall. do you know at this time what kind of character she needs to help her with her issues? i heard things that Ceasar or Jane could possibly help Nekomiya a lot, but thats from friends.

Maybe it's because my Jane is M2, but her best team is... Just Seth. That's it. Seth. I don't have Rina though, and don't have Lucy built. Trying Nicole, Qingyi, or Grace, results in the exact same clear times, with a lot more work, and less Jane field time. So... May as well just play on field Jane.
Rina with her signature is the perfect addition for the Jane + Seth team. If you also run 32% pen or 56% with fusion compiler on Jane with Rina on the team it becomes insane, especially against high level high defense opponents. And it's only gonna get better the more defense they have. So much better in fact that I think running other anomalies at all with Jane is going to be worse than just buffing her with a support. If Burnice instead of Rina doesn't outperform Jane/Seth/Rina, it's unlikely any double anomaly comp with Jane ever will due to the off field nature of Burnice. I agree Grace doesn't do anything, much like Qingyi other than using her right before stun (but not actually using her on field otherwise). Nicole should give better times against high defense opponents though, but she probably doesn't do much against level 50-60/low def mobs. Lucy is a bit overrated as current BiS imo, because she's only going to be good in easier fights. Rina is _alot_ better in harder content.

Would like Rina M1 and her signature myself, but it's been working out without it. Once we get a free Lucy next patch I might switch to Lucy M6 though. Good luck on future pulls mate
I mean they do matter a little bit in terms of damage, but it is really just a little. More importantly is the daze. However, energy generation and anomaly application does not change when levelled up. 'low investment' here would be to keep your skills at like lv5 or 7 and instead focus on disk drives instead. Your attack type dps, for example, require not only disk drives and the sub-/mainstats but also high levels in the skills (i.e. 10-12). Both types of dps want to be lv60 and have their core skill maxed. The difference however isnt that big since disk drives are up to rng whereas skill level upgrades are guaranteed.
I like her visually more than Caesar. Also I dont like too much how they made Caesar more "cutesy" and blush-y. From the trailer she gave me this "hardcore bad-girl" impression, but that aint how she is ingame.

You see, every character in the game has some level of gap moe or duality. Nicole is avaricious, but donates all her money to the orphanage. Rina is motherly, but creepy. Lycaon is seemingly hyper-competent, but fails at basic tasks like understanding chuuni or his promises to lip read. QingYi is at once very old but also quite mischievous. Even Phaeton lives a dual life of running a boring retail job on the outside (video store owners but being underground criminals behind the scenes (Proxies). So Caesar's personality at odds with her appearance is 100% on brand for the game. Can't wait for v1.2! PS It extends to the NPCs, too. Enzo looks like a hipster dad but races motorcycles by night. Elphy sells music and black market discs. Box Galaxy sells toys and weapons. And even New Eridu seems peaceful and idyllic on the outside, but is home to Hollows and conspiracies.
Burnice: For Disorder Teams & fire DPS Caesor: Works best with strong defenders + burst physical dps or physical anomaly dps (when everyone got their signature weapon!)

In the "Generate more energy" question you mention that the only ways to generate energy, aside special abilities, are the passive energy regen that is equal both in/off field, and the support ults. You are forgetting that hitting enemies also generate energy, and it's why the energy generation rate (not the Energy Regen stat) is so important. This is why Anby C1 can generate up to 39% more energy along with her w-engine and get to her EX-Special faster than other units. Edit: Also, saying that neko is merely a burst unit is crazy. Her passive is all about dodgecountering, and to keep launching those crazy EX-Specials she have you want to keep attacking to refill your energy faster.
Good and important point, I kiinda glazed over the fact that every skill also generates energy. Maybe I subconsciously somehow just thought "It was obvious". My bad on that, apologies! Definitely should have mentioned that! In regards to Neko, she can obviously take fiield time outside the stun window and it is not bad doing so (cause energy), but the largest portion of her damage (by quite a big margin) is still inflicted during the burst window.
I think cracked burst crit dps will have a higher ceiling with all the multipliers during stun, but if every anomaly carry is as consistent as Jane moving forward, I'm skipping every single crit character in the future lol. It's not even necessarily a meta chasing thing for me, characters that deal damage regardless of stun phase windows make the game feel much better
imo building two solid teams with both archetypes is the smartest move in this game. like he said, the meta might favor one or the other and you need to bring two teams to shiyu defense. atk on one side and anomaly on the other sounds like the right way to go meta wise
Saying Neko is a burst dps is fine but that doesn't mean she only takes the field during the stun window. I've tried that multiple with Qingyi/Neko comps and there's simply not enough energy for 3 EX skills once you've depleted the initial energy you get at the start of battle. Off field energy alone doesn't cut it, she needs some field time to use her basics and recover energy which hurts her viability when used together with selfish dps like Jane. The same idea applies to Grace, when she has enough energy she can generate shock quite fast but when she doesn't and she's paired with Jane you trade Jane field time for hers making the comp not as strong as it could be. Grace is better suited with someone like Burnice who leaves her ample time on field.
you use nekomiya ? thats cool ! im trying to use her too. but been struggling for teams. You think nekomiya needs more energy regen then ? or would some energy regen not be enough to get her 3 Ex Special attacks in your opinion ?
@@Hestis0 You can't improve energy regen other than slot 6 or Corin sig which are not worth it. You just play her as a hyper carry with stunner and support and use some basic attacks to get enough energy before the enemy is stunned. Caesar is looking like a good teammate for her, taking the stunner slot.
yeah idk about the "burst DPS thing" she surely can be used as burst DPS but i find that she's best used in a comp where she's the main unit on field and then you'll need that dodge counter to keep the 60% dmg boost uptime that is not ot be underestimated. Havin' great succes with Neko/anby/nicole since CBT3 and i'll surely keep playin' the best nekogirl upgrading the comp and build overtime when new wengines and supports comes out
Another upside of DPS over Anomaly is that Anomaly Units can very easily lose time by over- or underkilling. DPS units usually have a steady stream of damage, whereas Anomalies hit like paper planes until the bar is filled, which can make cleaning up the last few percents of HP on enemies very awkward at times. Its very telling that the only type of enemy to block out DPS by negating crits is purely theoretical, whereas anti-Anomaly enemies already exist.
I have Jane vs Zhu Yuan dps on neutral boss vid, I also did some testing on them on some boss that resists physical, and some that resist ether, but I deem those last 2 experiment pointless because those who plays char on such boss already know what they're doing and wont be neeeding such vid.
Jane and Zhu Yuan are my only S rank limiteds... Jane just feels way better to play because Zhu Yuan relies both on crit and the enemy being stunned, AND effective generation of her bullets, meanwhile with Jane you can just kinda shut your brain off and she does similar damage, ill probably be skipping any future crit dps units

I have Zhu yuan and Jane and tbh my zhu yuan feels weak asf and underwhelming when I’m in shiyu I feel like even during Stun windows her damage is meh but Jane’s dmg feels nice and high and I just got her. Maybe my Zhu yuan isn’t built right but I got like a 82% crit damage on her and she still feels meh
attack = stun = support is overall easier to use without any condition or setup to burst anomaly disorder string. you can attack freely while still triggering anomaly effect while less still effective is still generally useful for sets that require enemies in a state of anomaly debuff for its effects 28% crit rate etc... anomaly meanwhile under perfect setup can perform a vicious ass burst bigger than attack but running out of energy and burst anomaly can happen... in a game where most stats become disabled purely anomaly proficiency and atk... its the most picky and expensive among the sets available... i won't deny jane's sheer power. But anomaly setup means abandoning a stun or a support which is both crucial since 2 anomalies for effective disorder is best bang for the setup.
Rina and Grace are just more suited to non-time limit shiyu defence mode. It is very hard for me to pair Grace with Seth since Grace likes to jump further away from enemies when she attacks unless you purposely run towards the enemy so that she can get assist from Seth. And Rina's dolls seem to stay longer on field the further Grace from the enemy mobs. I may not get S rank in time limit Shiyu defence with Grace and Rina but I don't get hit either.

My only complaint is Lucy's ex special can miss completely because of its delayed activation
