They were great, and ok i thought they looked familar, we need to revisit both... i know a few taeyeon songs but have only watched that one video... I have heard of BoA just havent listened to or watch any videos yet... I think twice did a cover or something of one of her songs at a MAMA performance. thats pretty funny about winter not being born yet lol. we were talking the other day about how crazy it would be to be in aespas position.. some groups debut and its a slow climb, but aespa blew up super fast. thats gotta be exciting, fulfilling, anxiety filled, scary, happy and weird all at the same time.
Taeyeon was fire! I know her from her busking in Germany, 4 seasons and putting on my makeup so this is a total surprise to me that she can hang with the rv and aespa members.

This is a fking banger!!! Seulgi and wendy...nuff said I'm there for it. But then taeyeon is kicking ass with the vocals and choreo, damn. I'm so used to just seeing her solo stuff, I know she was in a famous 2nd gen group but this is the first time I've seen her in an active group. I don't know how I feel about aespa yet but within this group...fire. And quail egg head was amazing too (that's what they call Karina cause her head is shaped like a perfect quail egg...🤣🤣🤣). This is going right on my playlist, it's in my head now. Edit: you should ck out chocome super yupper...had no clue they existed but it popped up and I vibed with it. It sounded exactly like how I imagined a over the top jpop song would be like.
I have been pretty much been listening to Super Yuppers! on repeat all day today. You should also check out their first song "Hmph" and some older groups like Crayon Pop and Orange Caramel (which are major influences for Chocome's sound and overall concept).
i love RV, they are damn near tied as my fave kpop group with mamamoo. everything ive seen or heard from taeyeon has made my playlist, so i think i need to start checking out more of her with some diligence. i think aespa is great and one of my fave new groups.. some of the songs take a couple listens to catch on, but they are at least doing something different and bringin their own sound to the songs. good catch on the super yupper, its brand new... ill add it to my list... thank you

It tends to be most RV fans least favorite, i liked the carnival/festival idea musically but the only but it was too much however most fans agree it's like the best bridge in pop music because how beautiful it is and Seulgi/Joy sounded so great plus Wendy did great with her high note.
Zimzalabim started as my least fave song, I have grown to love parts of the song, but overall it's not one that I listen to on purpose, but if it comes on I don't skip it anymore. My two fave songs are Body Talk and Happiness, obviously this changes with mood but generally those are my go-to to start either the red or velvet playlist
the only one i can think that even comes close was the Refund Sisters, they did the multi-generation thing too and that song is great..... regardless, they killed it on this, i always love to see anything with RV, and they i was more than impressed with everyone else.. supergroup status

@@BestFriendsReact i think u guys really need to watch a guide or documentary on Kpop and all the memorable names inside that industry before still going on so you guys don't get lost in certain things that are really important hahaha, even me when i started getting into kpop in 2013-2014 i had to watch explanations and documentaries about Kpop to understand the industry better and i don't regret watching it. There's a lot of documentaries on TH-cam and some of them are from TH-cam originals. You just search " The history of kpop" and you will find a ton. And you guys if you want can upload the reaction too, that's some views over there hahaha

I thought this female super avengers group was a cool idea, not super keen on the song, I like moments here and there but overall still on the fence. However to see solo queen BoA who debut in 2000 be with Taeyeon & Hyoyeon of SNSD (2007), Wendy & Seulgi of RV (2014) and with Winter and Karina of aespa (2020) is very cool to see the generations of SM Entertainment women, in a perfect world we could've gotten someone from S.E.S (1997), The Grace (2005) and f(x) (2009) as well, their other 3 female groups but none of them are signed to SM still, I think there's like 1 out of 4 members of the Grace still signed but she left her music career behind for musical theatre plus just had a baby so I'm sure she doesn't care about this project unit. There is a huge fan divide on this for a lot of reasons. Some hate the song, others indifferent over member choices but there's also the idea that SuperM the mega male SM boy group which has different male members of their BGs have had concerts and albums etc meanwhile the girls only get this single with no professional MV and apparently this unit isn't "official", GOT the beat will have a rotating lineup so if we ever get another single it'll be a bunch of different women most likely with a different vibe. Some like myself like to assume unlike the men the women of SM are too booked and busy and only signed on to do a single and didn't want to do more than that LOL xD but who knows. I must say if you ever wanna get into BoA she had many amazing songs, she did have an official American/English debut back i like 2009/2010, she released an album and everything, She's super known in kpop as like the queen of dancing so if you do check her out be sure to see killer dance routines. I recommend Kiss My Lips (My favorite!
