Also, that chopper shot of RM300 where he passes the bike and takes that quick left pretty fast means a lot to me, I was right there watching it happen!! Great footage, better every year. Nothing beats the sound of a Trophy Truck. How about syncing a mic on the truck with the heli footage! Pretty easy edit and....let's face it, the sound of a big block V8.....or that disco music? Congrats Bryce and team!

Unfortunately short course needs a lot of work before I commit to coming back. Cost us a lot of $$$ to go to Crandon for 40 mins of racing.

Just under 52mph with all the speed zones. We had quite a few speed zones this race.

I’ve always wondered… does Dakar not allow trophy trucks? Also more importantly, why are they “trick trucks” now? Genuinely curious.
They are trophy trucks in baja, trick trucks in the states, and T1 trucks out in Johnson Valley. Its embarrassing, honestly the organizations cant get together and make it the same across the board but greedy promoters will never change.
And Dakar does not allow the size and suspension the trophy truck has to run in their race.

Six more months to the 1000 , please start with a truck with a new engine trans and drive train with only 100 miles on it , just broken in and all adjustments done to make it to the end of 1000 miles, you definitely have what it takes to lead from start to finish
Every race the truck starts it has new everything my friend. Everything includes every bolt on the truck.
@@BryceMenzies7 thanks for getting back to me I knew you would, I was just checking and now I know , I’ve been pulling for the number 7 for years now, with all the money time effort and disappointment you and your team put in and to win all the races leading up to the 1000 and leading the 1000 to lose it to mechanical failure, I was just saying please don’t beat on the race truck weeks before the race, I’m a nobody but just giving an out side observation , again huge fan and looking for victory in 2023
@@oldmoto5009 We put 50 miles max on the "race truck" before each race for a quick shakedown to make sure everything is good. That truck will not drive again until race day morning. What confuses people is I have two of the same truck, same wrap, same everything. I use the second truck during my Pre-Run to better judge speed and cornering before the race. Thanks for the love.

Thank you! If you understood how this was filmed you would understand that the audio from the truck is not achievable. We are working on coming up with a new way to get audio from the truck recorded to the camera files in the helicopter. But thanks for being super negative!
