That bridge part is almost the main riff to Crackerman. Amazing how good this album sounded considering it used similar progressions and concepts all throughout.

The guitar work in stp is so vital to their sound and lyrics. So under appreciated. His brother kept great time with the drummer on bass. This band really had the goods and delivered in raw fashion!

STP always had excellent guitar work. Love how heavy they can be....but with all sorts of harmonic almost jazzy complexity over top.

Being from Detroit I add the strangle hold string bends in the intro and after the Burn Burn Burn as thier is no solo in the song. I also tell the drummer I am jamming with to use the strangle hold groove.
When I saw this live, I became eager to re-learn it, and your video is spot on to the chords dean was playing!

Your videos are of such great quality each time! The first one I saw was for Seasons, because you were the first person I found tuning your guitar in that way, but I stayed because of your personal way of doing your videos and explaining things.
After a long day of hard work I always look forward to your videos, because they get me back in the mood to pick up my guitar, even if I'm tired :)

Rest in peace, Scott Weiland He was a tortured soul who couldn’t break free from addiction . Kids don’t ever try heroin or other opiates/ opioids. They are unlike any other drug . The physical addiction means even if you have the willpower to stop the withdrawal will make it almost impossible. If someone offers you down, save yourself and run like hell because your life depends on it .

Ryan love the tele deluxe. Do you like it more than the standard? Im debating selling my mex standard for a chris shifflet or deluxe model. Thoughts?
I'm glad my tele comes off that way :) I have no idea what it is other than it's mexican and a '94. somewhere along the line someone put the fender noiseless pickups in it, and I replaced the bridge and pick guard, I think I picked it up for $250 from a fellow teacher who didn't quite know what she had. I wasn't taking advantage of her, I likewise didn't know what it was. but it looked cool and sounded good, and the price was right.
