If you're wondering why some characters are missing it's because this video was made before the November 2013 Patch that added new characters and other changes.

One thing I will always love about Dota is just how effectively all the characters are written. Each one has so much character and so much personality, this is something no other moba can do as amazingly as Valve has.

It doesn't surprise me at all... at least doesn't surprise me as:
A Spider (Broodmother) = a fem Ghost(Death Prophet) = a ROBOT (GLadOS)
This makes me notice that lich can say pootis because his voice actor is Gary Schwartz (AKA the voice actor of heavy from tf2 who can also say POOTIS)
You notice Invokers similarities to the Spy most during his ult.
I also noticed Tinkers and Dr Kleiners voices are sounding very similar.
Valve always has an awesome voice cast for their games. And this game is no exception.
Nolan North, the man of many voices. This game is probably the best example of his talent.
The Sentient Ditto I find him to be among the least impressive from the multi voicers. I mean you can quite clearly tell his in a lot of the time, especially when he starts raising his voice and laughing. I couldn't have figured Lich was voiced by the same guy as Sniper in years, or Shadow Fiend voiced by Earthshaker.
Pen Expers Eartshaker and pudge being voiced by the same guy lol, you could never ever tell it's the same person unless you look it up.

I think Rubick is one of the best heroes for his voice, dialogue, personality, abilities and lore, and by abilities and one of the best heroes I don't mean in terms of strength, I mean in charm. (I could have said Intelligence because he is an intelligence based hero c:)

It is pretty interesting and funny to see some of the dota2 heroes resemble the original facial features of the voice actors who voiced them. Although not exactly the same.
1:51 the same actor did also the voice of the character Isaac Barnes from the game No On Lives Forever 2: A Spy in H.A.R.M.S. Way.

Leoric the skeleton king is in the Diablo universe and that is who the skeleton king in DotA was based off.
Actually, I researched myself they are the same voice actor, as well as Voljin from wow.
And another thing, the two skeleton kings are very different, based on leoric or not.
In DotA his name is Leoric the skeleton king. They were one in the same and is why (even though blizzard said they were going to let the names be) they are changing.
