- The PERFECT Overnight Stay in the Cotswolds. We made a little road trip out of it and visited Bourton-on-the-Water, Lower Slaughter, Bibury, and Barnsley where we found the perfect hotel awaited us: THE PIG - in the Cotswolds. I think we found some of the best towns in this region. The perfect sister trip overnight stay featuring what we ATE, what we SAW, and where we STAYED!

As a Brit I adore watching you explore England 🥹🤍 it’s so wholesome ✨
I did the Cotswalds drive a few times and its literally one of the places that you get what you see in the photos. I kept saying, this is such a dream. Its crazy how beautiful it is. People go to London and get intimidated by the driving but it really is not difficult and is the best way to see the country outside of London. I always get a car for a day or two no matter what.
Woodchester wines are just the best. Love the cotswolds in frosty, spooky fog.
Haha you were excited about a servuce station. My darling other half gets excited about going there. I cant stand it 😂😂😂
Lovely to have u playing here, hope youre treated well...... hopefully pop over to catch a game.... you picked the perfect day to visit....in the summer Bourtons awful..... theres going to be a lot of dissapointent if people expect the same when they get here.....nicely done, all the best 😊
This was such a lovely video. So beautifully put together. Such great people and nice to see a sweet sisterly relationship. A huge Ilona fan and now an Olivia fan. Subscribed!
Yes! I’m
Coming to the Costwolds from Northern Michigan in 2 weeks and I love this so much and needed this info!! ❤
A classic 'This is what memories are made of'. Well done ladies. :)
I love this! What a cozy little adventure! This is the first video I've watched of yours Olivia! I'll definitely be back to watch more of your videos!
I’m so happy you found me! I’m so glad you enjoyed the adventure!
Welcome to the Cotswolds! So wild to see you in places nearby where I live 🤯 Hope you both had such a restful and great time
What an absolutely charming tour of the Cotswolds.
THE ENGLAND VLOGS HAVE COMMENCED!! YAY!! I’ll be here for every single one.
That is when everything is desolate, frozen, gray and barren.. JUST imagine how fairytale like it is in Spring & Summer! I have been to 50+ countries... and yet - The Cotswold remains one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen..! Lord of the Rings/Storybooks magic .. unbelievable!
I find it interesting that most Americans pronounce the second syllable of Cotswolds to rhyme with "scalds" when I think we Brits would always rhyme it with "scolds". I wonder if it's because of the National Lampoon family the Griswolds, which is pronounced "grizz-wawlds" throughout the movie.
I love the Cotswolds. It’s beautiful in the winter and the summer. Bourton is a personal favourite, as is Bibury.
And Gloucester services is top tier!!!!
I love your blogs but, speaking as a Brit, I don't fully agree that the Cotswolds is the coziest part of England. That is very much a London perception as it's the most picturesque and easily accessible stretch of countryside closest to the capital. I'd recommend you try the Lake District, Yorkshire Moors or the Peak District. These are all in the north of England and so don't get visited by international tourists as often (and so don't get the same attention as the Cotswolds'). I'm only suggesting this as whenever my American friends come to stay they all want to go to the Cotswolds, but I've also taken them to the Peak District on additional visits and they were blown away with how picturesque and lovely it was, particularly around Castleton and the caverns (it's very hilly compared to the Cotswolds). Hope you enjoy your time in England!
The Slaughters are named from Old English Slohtre, which means “Muddy Place”.
You two are wonderful ❤❤❤
The Cotswolds are so charming. The Pig looks beautiful. Who wouldn't want to stay there?
My best friend and I will be going this upcoming fall, this video made me SO excited :)

What do you for work Oliver?
Joy.
Warning, 99.9% of England does not look like the cotswolds
Devon, Cornwall, Dorset, Wiltshire, Somerset, Herefordshire, Peak District, Lake District, parts of Yorkshire, Northumberland, parts of east Anglia, parts of the chilterns, parts of Shropshire, north wales, parts of Surrey, parts of Buckinghamshire etc etc are all particularly charming, I think you need to get out more.
How much greatness does one family get? Seems a bit greedy of y'all to hoard it! Ha!
Dang England is so dark and depressing ...You have to go to Poland ...a lot to see, clean streets, good food and one of the safest country's
It's Winter!
Yes, and you can take all the Polish people who left Poland to move to the UK with you....
It is winter, and absolutely nothing about any of this was depressing
