Haha, my favourite part of Christmas is wrapping the gifts. I know, weird, but I find it really therapeutic and relaxing. I hate writing the tags from "Santa" though as it has to look different from Mommys writing.

I honestly wrapped my moms presents from my whole family, My dads presents from my whole family, my older brothers gifts and my younger brothers gifts! And I made the cake this year while I was home alone. It's nice to help out :) My parents only had to wrap mine

Have you ever been wrapping for awhile then you start forgetting who the gift was for when you finish wrapping a box. Ugh I’ve had to unwrap a few boxes because I COULDN’T REMEMBER WHO IT WAS FOR. 🤨

I actually love wrapping - I sit down in my living room with either a Christmas movie or christmas music and wrap what gifts I feel like wrapping - I usually like to wrap gifts more than one night to make it last longer, because I enjoy it :)

Our tradition was one thing unwrapped under the tree from Santa. Then everything else was wrapped under the tree, from parents or relatives and what not.
Wrapping boxes is so satisfying especially when you have the perfect amount of wrapping paper

I am older and I never used to wrap Santa gifts but I would prep them cute. Some with bows and bells and candy and maybe little wrapped gifts. I put them together with the family wrapped gifts with a note from Santa. I also sort with diff wrapping paper. I’ve picked up theme paper at dollar tree. Great job Mom and Dad!

For me my mom and dad don't wrap the presents on birthdays but on Christmas we wrap them because the fun is to wonder what you got and riping through that colored paper to reveal the toys or clothes inside.

I love wrapping presents. So usually around December 14 I wrap all the presents for my family and set them out under the tree. It's my favorite thing to do

our presents are under the tree when we put up the tree until christmas day they are in piles for each kid. we have ah lot of kids so it makes it easier to do piles
My family and I make a huge sport out of gift wrapping. I usually wrap the gift standardly, but embellish it with beautiful yarn, leaves, ornaments, etc. most of the time people say they don't want to open the gift, because the wrapping is so beautiful.
I'm sure your tree looks beautiful with all of your nice wrapping! :) I use ribbons and such on gifts for other family members / white elephant gifts. :)

My parents used to do the whole not wrapping pressents because santa pulls them straight from the sack thing until about last year when we excepted the fact or stoped pretending santa actually came and we said can we have them wrapped and im 13 so I didn't stop beliving until I was 12 wich I am very proud of because it keeps the magic in Christmas

I'm 12 and I actually know how yo correctly punctuate my sentences. It's hard to read when you don't punctuate, so please do that next time. Also, I've known about there not being a Santa since I was about 7.
I like to wrap my gifts in two different times. Friends, and etc first, then my family a few days later. I sit down with everything I need in the living room and put on a Christmas movie. This year I am going to tie a string to my scissors and tape because I always lose those in the pile of all the wrap, ribbons, and bows. I know how to wrap gifts really well, but its those large fancy bows that take the longest.
I hate wrapping with a passion and suck really badly at it, so I use tin foil as it doesn't require tape, scisors or skill.

I'm doing full day co-op this semester at my high school & I'm doing my co-op at my local elementary school & I'm a teacher's assistant in a grade 2 class & I've had to cut out so many different like activities for not only the class I'm working with but for other classes in the school. So there have been days where either at least half of or all of my day was spent tracing & cutting out stuff for my class &/or other classes & my fingers literally felt like they were going to fall off

In our household we do sibling gifts and we also get to pick out one gift for mom and one gift for Dad and I like wrapping those gifts one time I even helped my dad wrap some of my mom's gifts

I am just like my mother and hate surprises. We both used to shake gifts. So she took a lesson from her childhood and would write codes on top of the box so we didn't know who had what gift. She now buys everything off Amazon or online and puts the code on the box and has the kids help her. Lol.
In my family the wrapping paper is coded like yours and we like to slowly put presents under the tree to build up suspense
I never looked for my gifts when I was little. One time though, I went in my parent’s closet for some reason, (I think I was playing dress up and wanted some of my mom’s clothes) and I saw all our gifts. Luckily they were wrapped so I didn’t know what they were.
Santa used to wrap our presents but eventually just gave us unwrapped presents. My mom told us 1. we were getting older and apearently didn't care as much and 2. he was lazy........ XD

We get most of the presents and then wrap them because most of our stuff comes from off line and after we wrap most of it we wait till we get the rest or at least most of it and finish wrapping

My favourite part is rapping the gifts for my younger siblings and my mum will rap mine
My parent's had a rule that if we found out what we were getting for Christmas before December 25 they would actually return them. It scared us bad enough that we never searched for them and, even though half of us are over eighteen, when it reaches a certain time of year (typically October is really when it begins) we all still ask if she has any presents in her room when we need to run in there to grab something or to just visit with Mom (she typically hangs out in the room watching TV because the house is overrun by boys. I can actually remember one year we were getting a puppy and I was trying to guess what the "big present" was and said, "Pony." Mom got so scared that I would guess what it was and she would accidentally give it away with her facial expressions. Luckily none of us guessed so we actually did get her.

Hey Mrs. Lang!! That is an awesome rule your mom had!! haha! I - to this day - have no idea where my parents hid the presents! I'm assuming the attic! My husband and I hid a few toys in the attic one year and forgot they were up there until we moved this past summer!! haha!

I think 'normal' Christian families follow the three gift rule because Jesus received three gifts from the wise men .. I think this is a tradition we may follow in the future. I just go overboard with the 'spirit' of Christmas and allow consumerism to take over... :-/
THE WADS No. I come from a Christian family and I have never heard of “the three gift rule.” My parents and relatives do a normal Christmas like any other. I myself don’t get “40-50” gifts (because unless they are small it would be really expensive) but I do get a good amount and usually what I ask for is expensive. 😂
I'm Christian and I ask for 3 main gifts every year , but I always get more gifts for "surprises " but if I ask for more than 3 gifts then I get less "surprises "
I am Christian and I have never heard of the 3 gift rule, and my parents let me get 1 big present and I can make a list but they surprise me too! I usually get around 20 gists
