- Stationary engines meeting took place in Nuenen during the Pentecost weekend. This year for the 30th time. With participants from within the Netherlands, but certainly also from abroad, this biggest stationary engine encounter on the mainland of Europe was again a wonderful party. In Nuenen vond tijdens het pinkster weekend weer het Stationaire motoren treffen plaats. Dit jaar alweer voor de 30ste keer. Met deelnemers uit binnen, maar zeer zeker ook uit het buitenland werd dit grootste stationaire motoren treffen op het vaste land van Europa weer een prachtig feest. What kind of cooling system do they have ?
Most of them use water for cooling. A lot of them have a open water hopper just above the cylinder.

The hopping engine is used in road construction to prepare the underground when building a new road. These machines are in a wide range availible from small to big. The owner of this machine has also machines wich are twice as big....!! Imagine working with it all day long......!!

I would like to find out more about the Lorenz gas engine. Hard to find anyone in the USA with a lot of knowledge of the engine. Are there any Lorenz clubs there I could get in contact with for more information?
Hello Travis. I don't know if there are Lorenz clubs around. I have done some research for you and discovered that there is a stationary engine collector in America that keeps a register of Lorenz and of the Czech Benz engines. I don't think so. In those days people were not yet working on that. But most of these old engines use very little fuel. My own old engine runs all day on a few litres fuel...!

Many brands of Engines. Some are on Good shape. The Cumins, ROSTON, Russian engines should be there.
Would be nice to see some of them next year.....!!
