    Thank you so much for this very informative and much needed video! I live in PA on small acreage, have peach, nectarine and apple trees and never got to taste ANY of my fruits thanks to very greedy squirrels. The war is on!

    I see some fruit in individual fruit bags. How does that work for you? It looks nicer to me but are the squirrels able to bite through?

    What do you recommend for a big and tall fruit tree? I might have to do it by lower sections.

      I would prune the tree down as much as possible. Dont be afraid to prune. The more you cut the more it will grow. American Netting might be the easiest to use for large trees. You may also be able to order custom sizes from them.

      yay! good for you! The nets with smaller holes fully keeps the birds out. No issues with any birds getting hurt or stuck

    Hi there I have the same net on my fig tree and have some thing eating through the net a very small hole and eating my figs
    I think it might be rodents

    Air rifle scares them away.....just have to invent a system that will pull the trigger every 5 minutes all day........that won’t annoy the neighbours, right?

    Can a rat chew through? Beside squirrel I problem with rat chewing through net.

      I have heard that rats and even some types of squirrels and racoons can chew thru. But for me so far every net I tried actually works! :)

      Yes rats have chewed through my net and eaten all my fruit
