Used to ride Cuddyback back in 76-81. One of the best desert areas ever, especially after a light rain. great traction, not may rocks and wide open runs

Haven't been to "The Husky" since 1999. It was still just the original bike and a plaque back then.
    Thanks for sharing!

Bravo Tom ! Great job... Thank-you... Tributes to legends lie along side those of young guns no one may have ever heard of... .
They're all the same to us.... May none of them ever be forgotten. RIP riders.

Out of respect for our old friend Jim Erickson ("JERIKSON",) we (the Desert Zebras), feel that when we decided to bury Jim's HUSKY up to the axles out in the middle of the Mojave desert so that no one would EVER discover this very special place . Our club planned to visit the monument each December for so many years after, I actually forgot the number, and now there are so many added, and respected items placed by devoted family and friends is just unbelievable. In closing, we would hope that everyone that understands about the ORIGINAL monument would please consider that there really is only ONE motorcycle monument, and it should be the 1978 HUSKY that belonged to "JERIKSON" . Please keep this very special place alive, but with only ONE motorcycle.
