Cool. Have all motors got brushes? I was about to take off the motor housing, then i could feel resistants. I assume it was the magnet. My wipers stopped working now and again. It would stop, then very slowly move then stop, then work normal. That was on any speed. I took the arms off to see if there wasn't any seizing going on, but all was moving freely. Second thought was, maybe the bushes in the motor worn. Any ideas?

Great DIY vid. Thanks. I never would have thought to use the pinion to cut the grooves in the gear using epoxy as the base; but, it all makes complete sense. I have several gear situations in the shop that I've never had the heart to throw them away. Now using your technique, I can repair all of them and return to service: wiper motor, lawn mower starter, Fellows paper shredder, and self propelled mower drive. Too bad I can't fix the flywheel in my truck with this technique.

I turned on the windshield wipers and they were stuck with ice and it took the fuse after that I put it in and it takes the fuse but I put it without the brushes and it works fine

Here in America we don't fix a broken windshield wiper motor, we just buy a new car. That's why they quit putting ashtrays in cars. Since most people have quit smoking the ash trays never got full so people stopped trading them in. Now a broken wiper motor is a good enough excuse.

Since when does epoxy hold on Polyamide (PA) or Polyacetal(POM)? This "keeps water while the masters goes away".
The only plastic that epoxy strugglez with nowadays is polyethylen
