We can also now determine the area of other shapes by transformations. I believe that this simple and visual approach to measuring areas can be discussed with children who can identify shapes and can do some basic multiplication.

As 1/2 x base x height ki jagah par dono diagonal hi aa jayenge and using Distributivity of multiplication over addition hamein 1/2 x d1 x d2 milega jahaan d1 and d2 dono diagonals hain

Yeah...that's right. Since rhombus is also a parallelogram, the same formula should work.
But for a rhombus, we can also represent the area in terms of diagonals - 1/2 times the product of diagonals. Can you think why?
