Rabbi Elyahu I saw you in a vision with your grandaughter: a small girl. You were happy. I wish that you stay healthy and happy all of you. I guess I connected with your souls :) Yes, if we feel these words of tehilim and really feel them: this is the greatest feeling actually it is sometimes like a thunderstorm it makes you tremble. You are in awe but at the same time you are joyful. I remember what you said the richness of testimony. Your books are rich I wish that I had read them before. It is really shameful that in our past sociocultural context we have not known anything about you except that you are in a land that is not yours but I know it now more than ever it is actually the opposite. What a waste of time I have not watched your lectures before. I did not see them for some reason I do not know.
@@williamallen305 The Psalms are universal, and can be said by anyone. Although some of the psalms appear to be for the David alone, or for the Jewish nation, their message and prayer are powerful, and can be expressed by all who can relate to them. Find a psalm that relates to your personal situation and say it sincerely, you will feel its effect, even if all you wish to express are words of praise and thanks.
I am really enjoying this, and learning a lot, and I am only partly through, (and I am a Christian). I have a question. What do you mean by "fear of heaven?" I've heard of fearing hell, but never heard of "fear of heaven?" (starting at 20 minutes in). I'm guessing it is the same as a fear of God? A reverance for God? Is that it? Thank you!!!
Everyone has a "mazal"? The mission/purpose/unique task mentioned at 13.54. Please help me spell correctly for a deeper study. Ty. And then at 14.35 is "tephilla"? Please help me spell correctly. Ty!
The name of the book is "Shimush Tehilim" which means "The use of Psalms." I don't know for sure if that book is published these days by itself. It may be printed along with certain books on Psalms. Many Hebrew books on Psalms, however, contain a list of chapters that are propitious to say for various causes, that are taken from this book.
On the topic of Hashem is perfect and when we daven it’s not that he changed his mind it’s just we didn’t need that challenge..how about in ואתחנן Hashem told Moshe not to daven anymore because if he does he will have to let him into Eretz Yisrael it looks like he would then change his mind ?!?
I am a christian and I love Rabi's teachings of the Scripture. None of the christian pastors or priests have the deep understanding of the Bible.

To sing a tehilim at night, is it bad?
