      I was always torn when I was a kid between Bhop, Tony, and Roy Jones jr. What sold me on Tony being my fav was I always loved the nickname “lights out”.

    Toneys legs and mobility look pretty severely hindered but you can still see all of those years of experience, he can read absolutely everything that guy is going to do and doesn't hesitate to react.

There are plenty of former pro athletes who still maintain regular training or practise or many even compete in amateur or local competition, unfortunately Toney took a lot of brain trauma over his career.

    Will always be one of my favorite fighters to watch. Master of angles, his skills were always top level. If you were a novice and had to pick any fighter in the history of boxing to model yourself after and learn to box, James Toney would be near the top of the list.

    My boy gassed out IMMIDIATLEY lol. He gotta get that cardio up, that and tell him to keep his cool, believe it or not anxiety can be a drain mentally, and if youre drained mentally youll be drained physically, mind and body are connected. Hes gonna need to work on cardio and get him into more sparring.

    Bags don't hit back sparring is the best training you can get because on a bag you can rest get away with a lot because you not getting hit but when you in a ring with someone they're hitting you making you push harder that's why explosive training is great running is good but it's how you run you don't run miles going at the same pace you gotta learn how to pick it up then return to your regular rhythm also it's mental as well never tell yourself you're tired always push harder and strive to be better everyday

    Toney one of the greatest of all time. One of my favorite fighters. The defense, the slips , the counters were crazy. Hard to get a clean shot on him. Never got knocked out. Never got his ass kicked. He was in every fight. He couldve hurt this guy. He pulled alot. But good shit. Im sure dude was just happy to be in there with lights out

    James toney is a Great. But as we age reflexes get slow. But there's a way to get their reflexes back they need to use weights. James toney doesn't need to lose weigh James needs to become FIT and shape up the weight then we will see the old James toney at a new weigh. James toney has to understand the shoulder roll, you use the shoulder roll to rest your hands A master Boxer Sticks to the basics first. To help his brain he has to drink vitamin B type drinks.
