I give you soo much props and respect for having the energy to color and upkeep a TH-cam channel while working with children. I am a mom of 3 and a Pre K teacher... and just... having the energy to sit and do a proper color is so rare for me. I get so tired and sleepy at the end of most days.
We have similar things in common: I LOVE American Horror Story so much!!! Jessica Lange is amazing in every role. My husband and I also loved True Blood. We watched the entire series twice through. 😃 I’m 47, met my husband at 19 and we’ll be married 26 years this year. I do not find it odd at all that you know whether or not you like a song the moment you hear it. Same goes for me. It either strikes that special chord inside of me or it doesn’t. I too work in a school. ☺️ Losing my fist dog (a dachshund) was the hardest thing I ever went through. He was 16 and I used to kid myself saying he will live forever. I used to call for him even after he passed. It was my way of dealing with the grief I suppose. I now have my 2nd dachshund who is a female. I am completely in love with her. I’ve had her for 8 years so far, and I don’t even want to think about losing her. She is gentle and sweet, like a little baby honestly. 🥰
My first dog that was MY dog, and not just the family dog, I got him when I was 15. I had always wanted an American Bulldog and finally my mom let me get one. We had to drive out of state to get him but he ended up being the best dog so he was worth it! And he grew up to be 120 lbs! All of my neighbors loved him, and everyone called him the gentle giant because he was huge and he looked intimidating, but he was so sweet and loving. Anyway, he died over 10 yrs ago and I still miss him all the time! I cry almost every time I think about him or talk about him! So I know how you feel Lucy! It's really hard because they are part of the family. It does get easier over time, but as I was saying before, I still cry over him sometimes. Just know that I am here for you!

I so enjoyed watching this video. It's amazing how much you and I are alike! My fibro causing much of the same issues you spoke of, hands swelling and things really aggravating me life jewelery or tight clothing. Lol. I had to retire when I was 53 due to the autoimmune issues I have along with the fibro. I admire that you're still working. You never fail to make me laugh. You've accomplished your goal of reaching people with your channel. Thanks for sharing!!

Great video, and nice to get to know you a bit more 👍🏻 A few random facts about me: My name is Tine, I am 43 years old, live in Denmark with my husband and two dogs - we have a greyhound (girl) and a whippet (boy). I have been colouring since last summer, love markers and colour by number books. I have not tried my Inktense, Polychromos or Luminance yet, but have plans to brave up and try them out in the near future. Your colour and chats really inspire me 😊 So many of your answers resonated with me. First of all Lilly looks absolutely lovely in that picture, and I am sorry for your loss. It hurts so bad when they go, and I don’t think it’s silly that you still say goodbye to her in the morning, in that way she is still a little bit with you every morning ❤️ I am also overweight and having a hard time loosing any weight because I have ME/CFS. Some of my symptoms are similar to Fibromyalgia so I do understand the pain, the exhaustion and so on and therefore I don’t move a lot either. Training can even make my condition worse, so I try to do it all through my diet, but it is really hard - it is much easier to gain the pounds than it is getting rid of them 😅 Sorry, now I have been rambling on and on - I just want to say thank you for being brave and making that decision to start your channel and you certainly accomplished your goal in reaching so many lovely people loving your channel and your videos - thank you Lucy 👋🏻🤗👋🏻

This was a really nice video to watch and get to know you through all these useless facts. Your coloring page is turning out beautiful too as usual 😁💜 I also have to live with fibromyalgia, it is a very nasty disease that turns your whole life upside down. I can't work anymore and I am really disabled now. I am so glad that I have found my love of coloring back and with this I can distract myself from the pain that I have constantly. The only downside is that because of my chronic fatigue due to the pain and sleeping problems I am not as productive as I wish, actualy I always compare myself with a snail 🤪. But I am truly grateful that I can color and keep myself busy, even if it goes very slowly. I wish you all the best with regard to your health and hope you enjoy all the beautiful moments you have just like I do, it seems like you do that much more intensely when your health becomes poor. I loved to watch this thanks a lot 😁💜
jroks, It is awful at times. Mine seems to present mostly with severe tiredness. I do have pain too but I could cope with that if I was so tired all the time. Lily is adorable 🥰! My Maizy is my best friend, she has chronic pancreatitis so I understand not wanting to leave her alone. I also teach and am home working again and love being with her all day. I really do miss her when I’m at school all day.

That’s a horrible thing losing your pup. My girl just turned 9, and I’m scared already. She’s a Bassett Hound mix. I’ve had Labrador Retrievers + never thought I’d love a smaller pup. But I do so much!!
I noticed quite a bit of water coming out of your brush. Have you ever tried a Dove blender pen. It is more gentle on the paper. That’s what I use when not working on watercolor paper. LOVE listening to you while you do such a great job coloring ..thank you.

@@lucyjustaddscolour-adultco3135 we actually drove all over.... my husband had a manufacturing plant up in new castle... so he knows the country well. we spent two weeks and drove all over... my older boys went with us.. so their favorite was dr who museum and London’s Sherlock Holmes museum. We Had the best fish and chips on bakers st. And of course we saw a ton of castles... but i loved the smaller towns and counties side and the rolling hills the best. It was just beautiful... and i loved the ocean side towns too... it was crazy how much we got to see. I even meet one of the TH-camr i watch.

Yes! I’m reminded of my sister-in-law’s 101-year-old mom who had gone blind from macular degeneration. She had been a teacher and one of her joys had always been reading. She had a very simple device that had an on/off switch, a volume control, and an eject button that she was able to find by touch. The state agency for the blind sent her free audiobooks, 10 at a time. My sister-in-law would go through the listings of available books reading what was available, and her mom would pick the ones she wanted to read that week. Her mind was quite sharp, but her body was frail. While my mom was in a nursing facility in Houston recovering from brain surgery I stayed with my brother’s family so I could be with our Mom every day. What a privilege it was to get to know such a fascinating woman! She loved telling me all about the books she read every day, and I loved the time I got to spend with her. She read all genres - fiction and non-fiction, and her discussions were quite thought-provoking. So, yes, you should count every audiobook you’ve read!
This was a wonderful video! I lost my dog last year too and I still miss and talk to her every day. I don't think that's silly at all. If you're going to travel abroad, you should really choose the Rockies Mountains in Canada. Yes I'm Canadian but all my English relatives have fallen in love with them and have been coming back for years (until covid). Also Kiefer Sutherland is Canadian (The Lost Boys is one of my favorite movies!!!) Thank you for letting us get to know you and for the great stories.
Lucy - I live in America and I not only want to visit the UK I want to live there, lol. America is very nice it has its bad areas as do all places drugs and violence is hard to escape. However Disneyland in Florida is pure heaven.

If you ever do take a trip to America, there's Disneyland in California, and Disney World in Florida, I would suggest going to Florida because they have Universal Studios, Disney Magic Kingdom, Disney Animal Kingdom, Disney resorts you can stay at and a Disney Cruise you can go on(I believe it travels through the Bahamas), and much more! Florida is where it's at, if ya ask me! Many parts in California...well let's just say they're not places that anyone wants to be lol! I live in the U.S. and I've never left or been on a plane either! I'm a Christian so I've always wanted to visit Israel, that would be my dream vacation! But if I'm being honest, I'm afraid to leave the U.S. with everything that's going on in the world!

I havent tried that blender no, but I love my water brush though 💖

@@lucyjustaddscolour-adultco3135 we actually drove all over.... my husband had a manufacturing plant up in new castle... so he knows the country well. we spent two weeks and drove all over... my older boys went with us.. so their favorite was dr who museum and London’s Sherlock Holmes museum. We Had the best fish and chips on bakers st. And of course we saw a ton of castles... but i loved the smaller towns and counties side and the rolling hills the best. It was just beautiful... and i loved the ocean side towns too... it was crazy how much we got to see. I even meet one of the TH-camr i watch.

Yes! I’m reminded of my sister-in-law’s 101-year-old mom who had gone blind from macular degeneration. She had been a teacher and one of her joys had always been reading. She had a very simple device that had an on/off switch, a volume control, and an eject button that she was able to find by touch. The state agency for the blind sent her free audiobooks, 10 at a time. My sister-in-law would go through the listings of available books reading what was available, and her mom would pick the ones she wanted to read that week. Her mind was quite sharp, but her body was frail. While my mom was in a nursing facility in Houston recovering from brain surgery I stayed with my brother’s family so I could be with our Mom every day. What a privilege it was to get to know such a fascinating woman! She loved telling me all about the books she read every day, and I loved the time I got to spend with her. She read all genres - fiction and non-fiction, and her discussions were quite thought-provoking. So, yes, you should count every audiobook you’ve read!
This was a wonderful video! I lost my dog last year too and I still miss and talk to her every day. I don't think that's silly at all. If you're going to travel abroad, you should really choose the Rockies Mountains in Canada. Yes I'm Canadian but all my English relatives have fallen in love with them and have been coming back for years (until covid). Also Kiefer Sutherland is Canadian (The Lost Boys is one of my favorite movies!!!) Thank you for letting us get to know you and for the great stories.

Lucy - I live in America and I not only want to visit the UK I want to live there, lol. America is very nice it has its bad areas as do all places drugs and violence is hard to escape. However Disneyland in Florida is pure heaven.

If you ever do take a trip to America, there's Disneyland in California, and Disney World in Florida, I would suggest going to Florida because they have Universal Studios, Disney Magic Kingdom, Disney Animal Kingdom, Disney resorts you can stay at and a Disney Cruise you can go on(I believe it travels through the Bahamas), and much more! Florida is where it's at, if ya ask me! Many parts in California...well let's just say they're not places that anyone wants to be lol! I live in the U.S. and I've never left or been on a plane either! I'm a Christian so I've always wanted to visit Israel, that would be my dream vacation! But if I'm being honest, I'm afraid to leave the U.S. with everything that's going on in the world!
