My dad was in the Army Corps of Engineers for 20 plus years. He helped rebuild many bridges after disasters. I'm glad they are there to help. They should have been deployed after the hurricane in 2024. Thank you, President Trump.

Twelve days in office and our president is making things happen. Impressive in my opinion. I thank God above, I thank all the wonderful people who have been involved in helping since the hurricane, I thank you brother Wayne, brother Bud, pastor Tim and all the churches and now I thank our president for getting the army corps of engineers helping with bridges and such. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers were in Swannanoa, North Carolina since October 13th, you can see footage of them helping residents on TH-cam just search for it.

It sounds great! Here in Haywood County there are still many living in tents. Now that it’s warmer and President Trump is on this, we should see real progress. It’s been a heartbreaking four months of horror for so many here in WNC and we’re praying I-40 reopens so people can get back to Gatlinburg-Pigeon Forge as small businesses across our region are hurting big time.
