Love seeing more back story! Correction for David Adelson: the Acropolis concert was taped in September 1993, & was released in 1994. Does anyone know when Yanni started touring the US? I've been to every concert I could get to for over 20 years, but don't recall the year they started. Normally, we would wait years between concerts, but saw him on 7 April 2011 followed by 6&8 June 2012. I'm so happy he is giving worldwide audiences the opportunity to see a LIVE performance! It gets BETTER.
I cant remember the exact year but somewhere around 95-97 I saw him live at an amphitheater in dallas. I'm not sure how much he performed in USA before that. I was really young though so my memory is somewhat hazy. He is amazing! I loved the energy. Also I remember the most amazing violin solo. I would love to see him live again.
He toured before Acropolis and before Linda Evans.
He toured with another band too... Chameleon
