I’m the Demo lock in the Tindral log you pulled up. I knew early on I was going to lose hard on this boss to the aff lock because guillotine and bombers do their damage over 6 seconds whereas seed spamming with PI does their damage before the full duration can happen. Also, as demo you are doing a bit of gambling trying to get doom brand on the first root or treant to die and sometimes even run into facing issues when trying to select the lowest one in the stack, where aff is indescriminate and everything blows up with soul flame. I agree that aff is the better spec on this boss, easier to play as well.

There is probably more possible for the specc, but there are only like 70-ish Aff logs on the fight :/
quick question, is the MR damage bonus from tier bugged? had another warlock try to say it wasn't actually giving MR the damage amp when it was clearly visible in details that it was.
Tindral's not even worth a debate on aff's performance. If you put it in context, compwise Aff is the most suited one to PAD on their comps and RLs play around that too, they are being expected to do that and are being helped to get there. We know it could be the exact same thing happening if it was a demolock or destro. Aff is in a very bad spot right now, to the point where they are good in very niche scenarios while also at the same time being just as good as other specs in the same context.
@Kalamzi just a suggestion for some extra content during lulls. I wouldn't mind seeing you do some replay analysis, like locks sending in their key replays and you giving critique. One azeroth TV does great stuff in this area, and I think you could also do it rather well. Just a thought, thanks for the great info though, always happy to see new videos from you.
No i meant the character stats themselfes such as showing Movespeed, Durability etc and not only Haste vers masteri and so on. Its a few seconds earlier in the video @@shanebryant8606
I mean the Character Stats displayed right of his characters items, he sees way more info there than usual with standard ui such as Durability, gold, global cooldown, mana regen and so on@@Infernozeek
really only thing with cd's is to have dreadstalkers and grimoire felguard out before you tyrant, other than that just use demonbolt procs and hand of guldan at 3 shards, implode on aoe. I generally implode after 2 hand of guldan casts but each situation is different.
Which scenario ST or AOE? IMO Destro is much easier bang for your buck in ST because Demo has too much rotation timing to spin (I go Destro on Igaria, Volc, Nymue, Smolderon). For AOE/M+ getting the most out of imps is one big thing people miss, don't have to implosion before they expire (the Weakaura Kala uses is great for that). Proccing the set bonus is also a huge portion of our damage. So use the talent to sacrifice two imps for shards at the start of the fight/when they are about to expire in a fight and you are empty on demonbolt procs/shards. It's kind of funny that you don't need to be conservative with demon bolt procs, you just don't want to be over capped on shards. If you are familiar with Aff, I think of the 4 set proc like Soul Flame because you want to spread the procs when something will die as it will explode and summon a demon when the mark is removed (including deaths). So it's not wrong to hit a baby mob in a pack with the demon bolt proc vs the big elite because the smaller ad will likely die first making for more damage. So on Fyrakk you never want to use the demonbolt proc on the same minion twice when they are grouped together because it is just missed damage. I'd say that's a big part of demo, not how you can do MORE actions, its how you can miss less damage opportunities. Feel free to post logs. I started demo this tier and am by no means a purple mythic parser, but I went through the same woes.
Look at how you prepare for next pack when you finish previous one. For me there was a lot of dps loss. Try to gather procs shards and imps for an upcoming pack. It is much better to spend demonbolt on new pack than to get shard on the last diying mobs
@@MarkusArkus5 both. But mainly St. Demo lowfi seems easier to play than destro this tier. Just spamming core procs and use CDs every 2min. It's not that I'm generally bad I think. Got 85+ parses on all bosses hcladt tier on destro. But ppl said it sucks now, and now I'm stuck with demo gear.
Blue silken lining only works if you're above 90% health. My raid has questionable healers and I'm rarely above 90%. How questionable? The blood DK tank is #3 healer out of 6 healers.
As a former HoF raider who’s been away from the game since Jaina. I’m super confused about the sentiments towards aff. It’s clearly not as good as demo. But community perception is that it’s like 25% back. But it’s more like 5%. Aff is not bad, at all.
It definitely has to be in some way. I’m brand new to warlock only have played it in bfa for like two weeks and big pump on destro right now. My single target is through the roof compared to other classes. Maybe I just get the class better but idk. It feels really really good
its because its the easiest ranged class by far apart from hunter..very few buttons. its a great class i like it but for mythic + its not the best with a 2.1 sec chaos bolt :( @@BIGDIZZBBY
We want to old stats ( Hit Def haste cape ) If i want to play aff (haste mastery)and demo(crit versa ) i need to farm duble spec all items stats. it s realy bullshit
Hood of Surging Time sims like absolute garbage for me for some reason. Wrists of Time Dilation are not great either. Bit weird because my gear is pretty standard afaik, double BSL for me I guess...

Is it worth playing destro in pug keys over demo in 24/27 keys? i feel like destro needs more group coordination but I might be wrong

yes it stacks, you just have to equip both at the same time quickly

You can easily see your uptime in logs... and a blood dk beating a healer is a normal occurance if you have a good bdk.

Hood of time is a nieche embellishment. People primarily abuse it on tindral or fyrakk, maybe on igira. Else is regular bsl/shadowflame
