So in a way you could say that I DO know him, As I'm sure alot of you who are also subscribed and watch his videos feel the same.

@@JacobViral I give respect and props when it's due, you really take alot of time to do what you do for people who may or may not have the means or the know how to do it themselves. On a side note, please pray for me that FedEx drops off my subs today!! Ill give you you little back story about the past couple months real quick that will explain why I'm so excited to get these subs. First,, let me start by saying that me and my girl just bought a house,, so my budget is extremely tight at the moment.I got 2 bdc4 12's that I ordered an am going to hook up to a Hifonics brutus gamma 3300.1, I'm upgrading from an alpine type r 12 and a power acoustik gothic 12 💩 , so it should be a big step up! The type r is nice and it never gave me any problems at all, even when I had the single type R pushing it almost to the max on the brutus that thing worked like a dream, still does, but those gothic 12's are in the complete opposite side of the spectrum. I recently just got back into car audio and started out with a Boss Elite 2500.1 that I bought off my boy for $60 brand new in the box, so I went and bought a gothic 12 from Walmart just to hook up to the boss amp. I won't lie, for being out of car audio for a while, after I got the amp and sub hooked up, it did sound nice, but after about a day or so I knew I wasn't going to be content with it and HAD to have more. Long story short, fast forward through the last couple months, I upgraded my amp to the brutus and 3 blown gothic 12's, and blown lanzar optidrive 12 later I got the alpine, and ANOTHER gothic 12 to kinda just help the alpine so it wasn't seeing waaay over rated power. I've never had subs smell the way those power acoustiks do, like if you really just put the rms power to them and bump them for a little bit the coils get smelling and if your not careful after that point, they'll blow within 20 seconds. So I've been barely able to sleep the past couple days because my new subs SHOULD be here today. Wish me luck, I'll post an update and maybe a demo when I break them in!
Update: They only delivered 1 sub today when I ordered 2 and paid for 2, I had to call and explain and they fixed it,so now I have to wait for them to put the money back into my bank and reorder the other one... fml... in the process of breaking in the one that DID come today. I can already tell this thing is going to be a monster... can't wait for the other one!

@@shawnsmith7296 we clamped over 22,000 watts at 1ohm, and almost 15k at 2 ohm, it doesn't play, I have it on 3 Crossfire xt3 18's walled, might add another 16k and another 18🤙

@@vulcane994 I don't think it was the same guy but building in the we little cars r much harder than building in a suburban they have my respect every day of the week I would not want to build in something like that, I got 6-18's n a burb and it was hard enough to build that in that truck I could not imagine in a tiny car
@@1-Six-dee it was very difficult. Especially my first time trying to do something like this and make it look decent too. It was definitely an experience and it paid off. That's for sure
What does it meter off the glass?
I got a 161.06 at 37 hz on the glass before I did any door work. They were legit open. Also, subs were just getting broken in. I have more testing to do, but that was about 4 months ago. Also redid my bracing inside the box and upgraded to solid steel as the baffle was flexing when I got those numbers. It's noticeably different since then. Testing was driver window all the way open and passenger window up.

@@62dobie If you don't hit a 150 with 2 Nightshade and an 8K, something is wrong. I did over 150 with two X v1 and a MMATS 3k so you should be good.

He would rather chemically burn off the logos then use zerk nuts!!!
What are zerk nuts?
@@Chris-B-Bassin instead of screws you can drill out the holes to a 1/4” or whatever and add these zerks that are mounted from behind the baffle. It gives you a threaded hole so you can remount the subs as many times as you want without damaging the wood. There are different types of solutions but zerks is the most common
