The whole angles were perfect. Amazing photography composition I must say. Sufice to say, the video itself is of high quality indeed. Great work really, yeah! Many thanks for sharing. Stay safe! 🙂
Oh she is a beauty isn't she, I love that the UK is finally making a move for new trains with new tech and new looks, the 700s for Greater Anglia, the Azumas/800's for LNER, the 195's and 331's for Northern, the 365's and 385's for Scotrail, these Nova 2's, I genuinely love it
The Class 397 Nova 2 Civity are very slick, fast and should be reliable as TransPennine Express are replacing the Class 350/4 with these new trains built by CAF.
I take this isn't in the UK? ....as it doesn't look like anywhere in the UK - both in terms of scenery and rail infrastructure (these type of overhead poles that support the wires aren't used here). Is the train being tested somewhere else? ....Poland? It'll probably end up not going as fast as this back in the UK - because our railways are more twisty, and also go up and down quite abit. Plus, we don't have any single track high speed lines. Nice video though!
Looks considerably better than the bombardier aventras which look like their made from cheap plastic, i mean the doors do at any rate Actually why do all the new commuter trains these days have the same plastic looking appearance, couldnt they find any other materials 🤷🏼♂️😂
hey, what camera did you use to film this. it looks so professional compared to filming on a phone and i adore the quality, keep striving to upload more your videos are good
I'm looking forward the new fleets TPE Class 397s plus new direct services from Liverpool Lime Street to Glasgow Central via West Coast Main Line from May 2019.
Mat Barrie yes chap, there have been numerous trains vandalised at the test site recently (when this was recorded) with a number of uk bound trains for East Anglia and TPE being graffitied or Tagged.
Impressive filming! Great speed by a fine looking train. However, i am a bit concerned about CAF, as they are notorious for their not so great build quality. Let's hope they did a good job this time, like Stadler and Hitachi who are dominating the UK rail market at the moment. Sad to see how grafitti assholes got to the train so early...
Great footage, pre-graffitied excellent! It looks to be quick off the mark but the line looks fairly flat. It'll be interesting to see how they come after few years of climbing Grayrigg, Shap & Beattock 3 or 4 times a day......
Graffiti already on a train on test.......? Clearly security not up to much.........BUT........then what sort of message does it send out to the scum who spray graffiti when you have a livery that looks so very much like graffiti...? James Hennighan Yorkshire, England

Now that is it! Finally a striking new train, plus a cracking livery! Well done CAF!
Thanks for filming this. I am looking forward to travelling on the TPE class 397 Nova 2.
I'm looking forward to driving them, hopefully see you around :)
Me too Bigticket.
This looks strange...
And I actually really like it!
Beautifully shot video !!
Thanks 😁
These units look fantastic!

700s were for Thameslink, GreaterAnglia got the 745/755 FLIRTs and Class 720 Aventras
I Like The Class 397 Nova 2 For TPE! Nice Video!
I'm excited for the nova fleet!!!
lovely capture my dear friend.

cant wait to start working on these out of Glasgow Central
My new office. Sad to see it vandalised though.
They will clean it up anti graffiti laquer applied I expect. I envy you going to drive that, I can only dream of driving decent rolling stock :-(
I like our new fleet: class 397/802 and 68 with mk5a coaches. Puts our 185's to shame lol. Glad we got rid of our 170's! lol
looks like an IEP but it has class 220/221 doors
Very nice video! 👍
Thanks :)
Sweet catch. Thanks for sharing I liked and subbed to your channel

How do you get so stable shots from close up?

We are on the same page! The quality is superb!
Tom said in another comment section that its a Sony FDR-AX100
Nice video
Thanks :)
Like nesmí chybět!

It would be faster if they sorted out the west Lancashire line
Where can l get these type of trainsets in Europe, which Hobby shop, it's hard getting those type of trainsets here in the states
.
Dont think there are models of this yet m8
Has the rear car been vandalised at 2.59?

Why just one door, surely should have double doors for easier boarding and alighting ?
Not needed on these as they are for intercity runs
Does this unit tilt? Some IDIOT has already put graffiti on it!:/

Will you video the Greater Anglia 745s along this test track?
The Great Eastern Trainspotter and Class 720
Where is this test track located? Looks familiar from Train simulator

Another one with grafitti.
lol imagine getting graffiti on a brand new train
now they have to redo all the vinylwork
Don't worry. Once we get it on the UK rails, we will destroy it.
The trackside Buddleia will scratch it to bits.
??
By the looks of 1:34 it has already been vandalised.
And 2:59.
Great footage, pre-graffitied excellent!
