At the time that I made this, I was too lazy to bother to use multiple armors and didn't think it was that big of a deal since I gave base X a handful of the powers some of the armors have. In part 3 (if it ever gets done), I do intend on correcting this mistake. 2. A remake? Maybe. I've been going back and fourth on making a remake or just starting from where I left off at the end of part 2. I'm leaning more towards just doing part 3 though, but I guess a remake isn't completely out of the question.

MY GOD! that was epic.. I haven't such a sprite fight like this since sonic flash, but i feel like the images were switch weirdly. If this was tide up a bit and kept it fast paced.. then it would be beyond amazing!
Nice animating, but needs better story. Sonic would not fight someone because they blew up their chilli dog, and even if he did, X would try to negotiate before fighting.

lol, first of all, the Archie comics aren't canon. I'm going off the source material, the games. If I used Archie Sonic, which would include Archie Super Sonic who is extremely overpowered, X wouldn't stand a chance. I'm going off of game Sonic and game X. Also, it was a crossover story. It was made to make both Sonic fans and Megaman fans happy, they didn't want one character to look stronger than the other so when they made them fight, it wasn't supposed to be an exact representation of how Sonic and Rock would match up in a fight at there absolute best. It was to create hype for the fans of both characters because having 2 characters from different series fight each other is the type of shit that they eat up. If they made one look so much stronger than the other, they would anger the fans and they would be less likely to buy it. Archie isn't even the only people that do this, plenty of crossovers had to do stuff like this to not anger a fanbase, example, in One Piece episode 590, they had to make Goku and the others much weaker than he actually was when he fought Luffy and Toriko. Crossovers are never intended to be an official power scaling tool. BTW My animation isn't death battle. I'm not going to do all the math and research to find out who would really win, especially when considering the inconsistencies within both series. This was intended to be a fun animation which isn't finished yet.

You know I think a rivalry between Sonic and Rockman, Zero, or Goku is much better than between Mario. (I personally did some calculations and really, Mario is too slow for Sonic, and Sonic would be able to unceremoniously kick Mario’s Italian butt)
Rockman, and Zero maybe but not Goku (unless we are talking about Archie Sonic. However, I do agree that Sonic VS Mario isn't a good matchup at all. The only reason why lots of people make them is that SEGA and Nintendo were Rivals in the 90's.

For example, X almost didnt survive before was hit by a laser beam fired by sigma in megaman X5. How he could survive to an atomic explosion? But man if you think X is this powerfull. No problem. We dont need to argue.
1. When I looked up X4 voice clips I thought these where the Japanese ones. After rendering the animation, I noticed it wasn't but didn't care enough to change it since I only used it once anyway. 2. Because it looks cool. And he doesn't have the additional plasma balls after the shot so it doesn't have the same effect on enemies as it did in the game. Not to mention in X7 and X8 his normal charge shot without the buster upgrade had a shot similar to the size.

He had a health bar in Sonic the Fighters, and Sonic Battle. In Sonic Unleashed, and Generations Sonic didn't loose all his rings in one hit depending how many he had. If we are using in game mechanics than X should have died when Sonic hit him with the spindash considering he is surrounded by his spikes.

A good amount of the upgrades X get in every game with some exceptions are situational and or weaker than the X Buster. I'm not going to show every single weapon he got in the series. I'm only using weapons that are actually useful for more than a boss or finding heart tanks, armor upgrades and sub tanks. Also just like with Sonic, I was saving more of their abilities for Part 2 assuming you saw the ending of the video.
The building was cut into pieces by X's Twin Slasher (Slash Beast weapon from X4). Sonic kicked the pieces to X. That still might seem like a ridiculous strength feat for Sonic but considering he is able to damage giant mechs in his base form, I don't think it's too far out there. But I mostly did it because at the time I animated this, I thought it would look cool.
