  • A cheetah mother and her cubs are in serious danger as a clan of hyenas enters their territory. The hyenas, with little ones of their own, will stop at nothing to protect their cubs, and also take over a favorable new home. As the hyenas inch closer and confront the cats, the mother cheetah stands her ground, and is backed by her offspring. They will not back down, and will not give up their land without a fight.

    We can't find this scenario anywhere in the world except in Africa. Let us take care of this gift from nature & pass it down to our great grandchildren !

    *The wild is indeed a place of constant challenge and survival. Cheetah cubs, like many young animals, are particularly vulnerable. The face-off between cheetahs and hyenas is a stark reminder of this harsh reality. These encounters, while distressing, highlight the importance of predator-prey dynamics in maintaining ecological balance.*

    Cheetahs don't raise their hairs to appear larger, it's because their stressed

    • @wcrimeusa88
      @wcrimeusa88 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      *You're correct. When cheetahs raise their hairs, or 'piloerection', it's often a sign of stress or agitation, not necessarily to appear larger. This physiological response can be triggered by various factors such as fear, cold, or excitement. It's fascinating to observe these subtle cues, which provide insights into their emotional states*

    The documentary is kinda silly? The cheetahs were just being followed for food, Hyenas don’t hunt cheetahs, they were never really in danger, only if there was food

      @@thewinusa Hyenas aren’t primarily scavengers though, they hunt more than Lions do but they scavenge because of how big the clan is and so clan members miss out on eating at the kill so they have to go out and hunt/ scavenge alone.

      @@thewinusa it’s now proven that hyenas aren’t scavengers more they hunt more then they scavenge but you’re right about t’he storytelling

      From what I gathered they were being followed because they were too close to hyenas Dens for the Hyenas to feel the cubs were safe, plus I’m guessing this Cheetah is incredibly experienced considering the fact that instead of trying to distract the hyenas, she stood her ground which made the hyenas lose interest since it wasn’t worth the effort, Hyenas and other predators often kill Cheetahs and other predators to decrease competition for food and resources, The Cheetahs didn’t have any Prey, them being followed for food is unlikely, Hyenas scavenge given the opportunity, they don’t follow other predators around just in hopes of taking a kill

    Climate change ... not sure if anyone has noticed, but the climate changes every year. Some years are hotter, some colder, some drier, some wetter. It's been that way for ages, literally. Mostly, it has to do with the sun.

    • @wcrimeusa88
      @wcrimeusa88 ปีที่แล้ว

      *While it's true that weather patterns vary annually, climate change refers to long-term shifts in global temperatures and weather patterns. It's primarily driven by human activities, particularly the emission of greenhouse gases. Although natural factors like solar radiation do impact climate, the rapid warming we're currently experiencing exceeds natural variability. This change is causing significant disruptions to ecosystems worldwide, threatening biodiversity and our own well-being.*
