What the Concourse Project has done for Austin and South Texas is amazing! Saw Boris Brejcha twice there. We, in San Antonio, are so blessed to have this venue 90 minutes away.
Couldn't agree more. I wish the other major cities of Texas could catch up to this level. Even after moving away, it is still worth driving down to Austin for a show over doing it in Dallas.
I saw Carl Cox at Emerge in Belfast and the crowd was a fraction of what it should've been for by far the best DJ in the world, even now, and in my opinion the GOAT. It's only with hindsight will those kids realise they were in the presence of greatness and didn't even know it. Long live the KING.
He gets it. He understands how to work the crowd and all the technical obstacles to make it happen. First time listening to him and he reminds me of the old days working in the clubs. Good set.

This man is truly the 30 year scotch of DJs. Amazing when he went in, developed more complexity over time, and sampled every year he just gets better and better. With a massive library already, he's got an infinite bag of tricks to pull from, and yet every set is wall to wall bangers with layers of sound mixed to perfection. 😎🤘
It's not a live set it's pre recorded and mixed on a computer ,Carl just uses the filters and all he has there to controll the sound so it all sounds live,if you heard him mix vinyl youd be surprised, he does put a good show together though.
It's great that you seen him live in 1999 in Austin, Texas. In juin 1997 i went with my brother to Ibiza. The month before, in May he played at Pacha. I saw Dj Pippi in Pacha.
