Intended use:
CRP Test for determination of C-Reactive Protein (CRP) by Immuno Agglutination method.
Introduction:
C-reactive Test (CRP) is an acute-phase protein present in normal serum, which increases significantly after most forms of tissue injuries, bacterial and virus infections, inflammation and malignant neoplasia. During tissue necrosis and inflammation resulting from microbial infections, the CRP concentration can rise up to 300 mg/L in 12-24 hours.
Principle:
The CRP-Latex is a slide agglutination test for the qualitative and semi-quantitative detection of C - Reactive Proteins (CRP) in human serum. Latex particles coated with goat IgG anti-human CRP are agglutinated when mixed with samples containing CRP.

So if a test is positive, how do you quantify the levels of crp in the serum since there are normal ranges for it? Or is the test reagent modified to detect marked elevated levels? Or are there further tests to help one quantify the levels please?

Sir ye qualitiative test hai. Isme Positive aur Negative result he milega. Agar patient sample me agglutination aya to positive hai aur nahi aya to negative hai. Exact value jaan ne ke liye Turbilatex kit use karna hoga.

Positive negative control ka use kya tha isme jab result sample agglutination se check krna hota h +ve -ve

Sir positive and negative control 2 reasons ki wajah se use karte he: 1. Check karne ke liye ki kit properly kaam kar rahi hai ya nahi. 2. Check karne k liye ki humne procedure properly follow kiya hai ya nahi.
