When I first saw the image of the “Blue Marble” earth photo as a child, I utterly surprised myself by bursting into tears (all the adults started crying too). I wasn’t an unusually emotional or sensitive kid, but seeing the real, astonishing beauty and wonder of our planet for the first time struck some deep emotional response in me. Nothing before or since has ever quite moved me like that photo, I’m in my 60s now.
White, episode 3 is going in my lastest poem called WOKE, and my music album NRGMusicArtWorkx. Thank you so much for this amazing documentary, so inspiring. :)
Lapis Lazuli was actually used for decorative objects as far back as about 7,500 BC, in the Neolithic! It was more expensive than gold for a long time. Today, the chemistry of its principal component, the mineral lazurite, is industrially reproduced and it’s sold as Ultramarine oil paint. It’s analogous to lab-grown diamonds, chemically identical, but not naturally formed. (Lapis lazuli is a contact metamorphic rock associated with marble deposits. It’s an agglomeration of several different minerals, but it’s the lazurite content that gives it its fabulous color, the gold-colored streaks are pyrite. It’s mostly silicate mineral content make it tough to grind).
I can't find the full series anywhere, you can't even buy them online! You need to upload the other half of this episode! edit it if you have to, like people do with anime speed it up slightly flip it WHATRVER IT TAKES IM PISSED

Apologies, he does mention the price of lapis was higher than that of gold. I just didn’t watch long enough before commenting.
