I live in Cayman over a year now and it’s the best decision I’ve made, you can walk any hours of the night with your phone at your ears and money in your hand anywhere without worrying about yeng yeng riding up and grab your stuff. This video is so nostalgic, I lived in Cayman for years, its good to see Georgetown. I worked at a restaurant Caymana Bay, the reason the tarpons are so big is because I use to feed them every day lol. Fosters and Kirks are the two main supermarkets there.
I also enjoyed the Christmas lightings every year, Cayman was fun but it all ended thanks to COVID. Now I have to enjoy the snow here.
I would love to live there again or even go for vacation.... Great video

I’m referring to the cleanliness of the island and how the arts and craft are in stores and it’s organized. Jamaica has improvements to be made, maybe tourism in more parishes but with a little work it can be done
That house you stopped by with the lights is not just someone house that’s Edward Seaga sisters house she has live here for years back from in the 90s every Christmas year one few house on island that is well decorated

Not sure it’s accepted, I use my Jamaican bank card and it converted to USD
Asking for a friend, do you need a visa to go CI
If you have US visa then you can enter through America if not then you need to apply for a cayman visa. It’s a cheap and easy process

R u aware the Cayman Islands were a dependency of the Crown Colony of Jamaica. [20] The islands continued to be governed as part of the Colony of Jamaica until 1962 when they became a separate Crown colony while Jamaica became an independent Commonwealth realm. Majority of Cayman Islanders are of Jamaican ancestry. They're what Jamaica should have been if our politicians had loved Jamaica and its people rather than loving their political ambitions more.

Had a great vacation in Grand Cayman. And yes, it was a little pricey. BUT the most expensive thing are the taxi cabs. We added $80 to each dinner for taxi round trip. Yikes.
