This was in my suggestions list, so I watched, and was very startled. Usually 4 or 5 different colors are blended for one section of the house, and I've never seen the colorless blender used before. You simplified and somewhat muted the colors, except that bright blue starry sky. And...at first I didn't like the simplicity, but the more you progressed, the more I liked it until I loved it. Do I prefer this? No. But I appreciate that everything doesn't have to be so complicated and take 400 hours to finish. It's absolutely charming, and now I have to look at more of your work. :-) Thumbs up. Happily subscribed, bell rung. Thank you, Julie.
I've seen a few other colorists do this page. I do believe I like yours the best though. Just personal preference for color scheme. Are you going to do the castle in the clouds page with the stone stairs? I love that page. One of my favorites in this book. But I really love pretty much all the pages in this book. It's my favorite out of all the Johanna books. I think I might even love it more than inky and ivy. I'm probaly going to have to buy another copy because I love it so much. Thanks for this wonderful tutorial.

I will color more pages in this book, I love it too but can’t say when and what page … but I’ll keep it in mind
