Peringottukara Devasthanam, the abode of mighty Vishnumaya Swamy, provides protection to thousands of devotees. While entering the well decorated Devasthanam temple, one experiences a pleasant and surprising divine power. Lord Vishnumaya’s glittering gold Sreekovil (sanctum sanctorum) can be seen there in all its glory. It is a temple of shining panchalohas (five divine metals). The very sight of the Lord Sree Vishnumaya Swamy in dancing attire and receiving advice from Devasthanathipathi fills the minds of the devotees who return home with mental peace and solace. Through such godly benedictions, the glory of Devasthanam spread across the globe devotees regardless of caste, creed, religion or language pour in to go through the celestial experience. 51 feet tall Siva Parvathy Vishnumaya idol, Mahishamandapam, 32 ft Garuda statue, devasthanam Kalapeetam koothambalam and Devasthanam guest house situated in front of the temple welcome devotees to this holy place. Peringottukara in Thrissur district is the place famous for devotees and temples. Noon dance appearance is a speciality which cannot be seen in any other temples. Irrespective of caste, religion and community devotees can present their problems directly to Lord Vishnumaya Swami and Unniswami will suggest the solutions for them.
People who wish to visit and view Sree Vishnnumaya Swamy in dancing posture should reach Devasthanam before 12 noon. So, they can perform their poojas and return by 2 p.m. This Noon Nrutha Darsanam pooja is on all days in a year (365 days on end).
Need not worry about those who are not able to come directly.We will perform necessary poojas and send prasadam to the devotee’s address.
