Charlie Sloth named his 5 favourite Asian rappers in 2017 in an interview with Preeya Kalidas.
I can't speak for the UK in general, as I rarely listen to music nowadays, but I do know that the best Asian rappers from Bradford are largely ignored for people like G Bugz who is average at best.
The same goes for all the other quality rappers in Bradford of all races, who are ignored for people who are average or simply shit.
The only non-Asian Bradford rappers who get attention are Bassline rappers the BBCC, and formerly the Hip Hop battle rap legend Lunar C yet even he's struggling for views nowadays.
I know there's at least 5 Asian rappers from Bradford who have all got at least 1 million views on at least one of their videos this year, simply for the fact they're Asian.
Yet the actual best rappers from Bradford, usually get a maximum of 30,000 views, and struggle to get 10,000 most of the time.
