Jonas Polsky i just see their games as point and click type games with a lot of strategic elements. not known for graphics, or its physics engine, or story telling. for the type of games they make, it's the best, it's fun and addictive. but better than something like GTA? imo it doesn't compete.
bring back Jack and Dexter. maybe do a Jak4 but before you do make a remastered version with the racing game in it also cause it wasn't in the remastered on ps3. please!!!

I have multiple video game ideas with fully detailed outlines, ever since game dev in high school I’ve wanted to create a video game and even create a series, clothing line, restaurants, an entire empire behind specific titles I came up with. I hope I can work for Naughty Dog, direct and even act in the games. From voice acting to motion capture and music production, I want to be involved in the entire process and hopefully we can translate some of these ideas into the real world as well. 🙏🏿
I remember when we played Jack and Dexter we did not have a storage card. My brother and I played for three days. When my uncle traveled to his new home he forgot his storage card and picked it up in my pocket. When I got home, it was the happiest day of my life when I saw Jack and Dexter in the storage card
Naughty Dog has basically been my making the games of my entire childhood. From Crash to Jak&Daxter to The Last of Us. I've been a fan all my life and I really wish I could work there!! Sadly I live in Germany
Jak and dexter was my first PS2 game that I bought. Uncharted 2 was the first PS3 game I bought. Last of us was the game I most had a problem putting down the controller, I had to limit myself to only a few hours per day so I would not try to beat it in one sitting. Honestly it will be a while till I buy a PS4, but I believe Naughty Dog will deliver with either Uncharted 4, Last of Us 2, or another game,
I remember that day in 1994, I was playing Way of the Warrior on my Panasonic 3DO FZ-10 and wasn't glad with game so much, but who knew back then that Naughty Dog on it's way to be the best videogame developer in the whole world... as a true videogamer I must admit, Naughty Dog developes amazing games, a true art.
If only I was older (i'm 15 btw) i'd totally become an employee at Naughty Dog. i want to major into Computer designing and my primary option is to work at Sucker Punch or Naughty Dog (because of how fantastic their games are). My second option is just being the aid tech at offices. and if all fails i would be an accounant

I guess you are that kind of people who hates on something when they do a mistake. Yeah, everybody hated tlou2 for the story for a lot of reasons. But if you leave the spoilers they gave for free, is the hate really justified? I think not, and remember, i am not defending that game at all, i just think people over exagerates. Does deserves the goty? Of course not, gotys are like the oscars and disney.
Jak 4 is a MUST! It’s been a long time and I know people other than myself are absolutely in love with jak and dexter , it would be good , a big surprise and explosive drop.
Jmplaza 21 No one cares about concepts. They are not worth anything in gaming development. They are looking good programmers, and artists. You will most likely not be a director unless you are indie. Concepts are good, but you need to understand philosophy, world history, literacy, media studies and other too make a good story.
Jmplaza 21 It's hard work. I use to think that way also, but I learned the hard way. Pick up Unity and make simple games. That's the first step. Second is taking college English, Law/Philosophy, History/Religion. Also read books from authors such say Ray Bradbury, Kentaro Miura, Alexandre Dumas, etc. Oh and don't quit on week 1 like a lot of people.
Where do most of Naughty Dog's people go to learn their craft? If I got the chance to learn how to program or do audio work I would happily work 24 hours a day!
With the right combat and storytelling I think NaughtyDog could make the next SOCOM Navy Seals game. The gun play is solid in their games and their friendly AI is really smart.
I've always wanted to make games for Naughty Dog. I'm passionate about developing games and completely dedicated to a project would even like to push myself and see how great I can make the finished product, it's all about the details. I've played your games since Jak and Daxter 1 on the Playstation 2 took my breath away at how flawless the animations and platforming was thanks for that. Someday I'll see you guys there hopefully working side by side with you fine people, you will still be there making works of art years later because I still have to go to college. :) Btw I want to do programming, I enjoy that for some weird reason. I'm so glad that we have naughty dog in the industry :) companies like EA, Ubisoft, activision etc don't understand what games are really supposed to be. Annual releases with Fifa, assassins creed and call of duty, though fun, don't have the feels of a naughty dog game.

You guys were always big inspirations on my works, I would love to work in there and it is one of my goals, I am working and studying really hard for that. I am studying at Gnomon School here in LA, I love creating characters and environments, I have a 5 years experience with games, mostly with mobiles and PC, but now I am working on my own indie games for Ps3 and PS4 (already SCEA licensed and with the dev kits). I would really love to work a t naughty dog one day as a game tester when I grow up tbh like after I graduate high school it seems like a great company and I always find myself trying to get the new naughty dog games just because of the campaign
very inspiring. I did this kinda of stuff in my programming 12 class. My teacher taught us how to make a very simple game, top down shooter. The problem was that we had no diagonal movement, just up down left right. So i tried to make it better and add diagonal movement. I spent 2 days just trying to get it to work, had no experience with coding before hand. Then I finally got it to work and I was so happy. Then I tried to make a physics system then I tried to make random world generation. Its so much fun to push myself.
That's actually very good. Creating practice games are good for a portfolio. With every game you make you make small or big you gain more experience. Most people use Unity, Gamemaker, Unreal Engine and quit on the first day.
***** Yeah. I think what makes most people quit is that they think their first game will be amazing. But when they go to develop it it turns out bad and they start to think that you have to be talented to do this kinda of stuff. Talented has nothing to do game design at all... maybe a tiny bit BUT THATS NO A REASON TO QUIT!!

I dream on working in Naughty Dog.. I've been dreaming ever since I've played my first Crash game. Right now I'm getting a course to be accepted into the best design academy in Israel (Bezalel) and then MAYBE I'll have a chance. Working in a game industry in a team that's responsible for iconic and most recognizable characters that were heroes of my and many other people's childhoods? Count me in.

Naughty Dog is an amazing company. Seriously I'm pretty proud to be able to play and get into your games. Everything I've seen from this name has been amazing. Its also nice because by playing and reading up on this company you guys just seem like you have your shit together. Your franchises aren't too drawn out, your games are well made, you push the envelope quite evidently, not to mention the detail I notice go into your games.

I dream on working in Naughty Dog.. I've been dreaming ever since I've played my first Crash game.
Right now I'm getting a course to be accepted into the best design academy in Israel (Bezalel) and then MAYBE I'll have a chance. Working in a game industry in a team that's responsible for iconic and most recognizable characters that were heroes of my and many other people's childhoods? Count me in.

I love to play games, I'd love to make games, after seeing this video, I'd LOVE to work at Naughty Dog!! Look at the environment they've created - so conducive to creativity. I'm a huge fan of Uncharted, Last of Us and I even enjoyed Crash back in the (PS1) day. This great studio is responsible for all of those epics - keep it up ND :D

Where do I start? I would love a job there, no doubt. I have done programming at university as part of my IT diploma but not game specific design. Opportunities for getting into the gaming industry are scarce in this country sadly.

As for development, apart from actual programming and back end design work, I would really love to write games - story design and direction. I have quite an imaginative mind if I'm honest lol
