Here I (Tanis Leonhardi; she/her/hers; of Seattle) talk through the Alison dos Santos (of Brazil), 400 metres hurdles race at the 2024 Wanda Diamond League London Athletics Meet in London, England, United Kingdom (time of 47.18 seconds in the final on Saturday 20 July 2024). With his time he achieved first place. I provide my take/perspective on his performance and contextualize it in terms of his running technique during the race.
