You crack me up when it comes to loading Barney. "I want to haul full loads, but I don't want to get too crazy," and proceeds to fill Barney to overflowing! Love watching you work, Chris. The fact that you do enjoy what you're doing makes it enjoyable to observe. Thank you for sharing this. Can't wait for the next installment.

Someone needs to design a tailgate for the haul trucks so that when you need it out of the way to haul brush and logs it can flip all the way forward and just make itself into a bigger headache rack and maybe partial side rails. A win both ways, haul more dirt with a tailgate holding it in and protect the cab more and be out of the way to haul brush and logs
I definitely appreciate these videos, especially in the winter when it’s dark by the time I get home from work and can’t do much work on my own yard. (And cool to see transformations that are beyond my budget)
Great job nice shoes 👍🏻 when you put the new shoes on and walked in the skid steer I thought you were going to put them on and get in and go straight to work love how the 220 drive motors whine 12:42 love how the horses ran love your socks and how you put your foot with no shoe on the bucket love how you threw your old shoes and said comfortable love how you didn’t finish saying summer salt love how one stump fell off when you were trying to load it love how the bark flew off when you were loading the logs with the stumps on them and how you scratched one with the thumb love how you took your long sleeve shirt off and put in Barney 40:49 love the rubber thing on the dump truck window and love the noise of one of your machines at the end of the video Love how you said our brush and that’s a beautiful sunset
I'm not sure if it's just me, but when you're digging I still, having seen this stuff most of my life, can't help but think "Oooh, big full scoop!" every time or "Aww, didn't get as much." Every scoop full is a mystery, really, suspenseful, lol. Love it.
Nice boots. The huge amount of work achieved by one man is just amazing. Always planning and making the most of every minute of daylight LetsDig18. Old Barney does a fantastic job too.
Try this for mud, it worked for us (even after an heavy rain storm) run your sheep foot roller over the wet areas, it'll dry it out Alot fast than you think. This is the best advice I can give anyone that wants to get your job done faster., just try this, you'll be happier camper
Chris you work so hard and so well I love 💕 riding along side with you it gives me such joy Cause I can’t work that backhoe anymore due to spine disease thank you
The boots I used to wear back in my biker days when I had my Harley cost me 300 bucks so when the soles wore out I had new ones put on. Mostly so I wouldn't have to break in a new pair but the $$'s saved I could put into more chrome or bling on my ride.
Has the owner said anything about how much stone is coming off the pile, great video as always, moved a lot of material to make burn pile and loading out the concrete for roadways and pads.still got a lot of work ahead of you, can’t wait to see what comes next.keep doing your thing.be safe.😎😎😎👍👍👍
It's not lost on me and probably everyone how Chris has to stop for a second and set up the camera, then stop again and pick it back up. He always thinks about our viewing pleasure.
He has been doing this a loonngg time now! What amazes me is he is likely no more than a week behind on postings. He puts in these days and then goes home to edit the work as well! It takes a lot of his time!! 😊
You have gotten really good with video camera placement while making each movement of equipment productive. This burn pit is massive. Great video Chris.
Every pair of boots have a break in period some longer than others. Also I’m sure the long hauls for Barney is good for the motor especially the injectors with how much it idles. Should have called this episode sketchy hauling with Chris 😂
Is the wood from a gum tree any good for any thing? I mean like wood working projects, furniture or some thing like this other than maybe pulp wood? I know there are some trees that are just shit trees like box elder and willow. I just wonder if gum falls into that category.
Well you got to get her done. You got to work smart. Not hard that's for sure. I like those bloodstone boots, steel toe comfortable. The only problem is I got to use a shoe horn to put them on but other than that they're good. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦
That stump has roots like my trees in N. Fla. dozens of them going straight down. Maybe that is how they stayed up during Hurricane Helene in the Cat 4 zone. Yes, efficient travel with Barney but do you get tired of repeating yourself?

Would love to get an update on your new boots after you wear then for a few months. Only boots I have ever found that don't have a break in time is Ariat.
great video Chris. you always do great videos and got to where you do great narratives while working. do you think you can knock down a tree WITH OUT SAYING TIMBER. always look forward to hearing that.
Also, you mite wanna put fire extinguishers on ALL your Equipment, just to be on the safe side, never know if something will over heat and catch your entire machine on fire. Just thinking ahead of time for you, great advice for yourself

I'm thinking that Barney was one of your best purchases!
Sure is reliable now that he put that work in early on.
Looked to be a pretty productive day!! Barney just keeps on hauling whatever is put in the box!!

Chris no one will ever say you don't give a full days work. Beautiful sunset.

You could wear then new boots at a dance, or maybe even a wedding.
an electric bike would save a lot of walking time ,maybe fun too !!

Most the noise you hear is from hydraulics. The engines are pretty quiet on excavators unless the exhaust is facing you.
