Been on that very spot a couple times. Sitting though, not standing. Revisited a few months ago, but we didn't go past the observation deck to the top because it was raining.

Spot on! There is a reason we have Search and Rescue. For those that don’t respect what could happen and if it does, then they expect others to put their lives on the line to come rescue / recover them. I am an avid hiker, outdoors person. But I know when to not cross a boundary or break rules, that could lead to tragic events for myself and others. The rules aren’t there to stop your adventure or limit fun…save your life and perhaps those coming to save yours.

Hey @brandon, I like to hike/do outdoors activities, and want to take my son and wife here.. would you say this area is safe for an 11 year old to hike?
Bro. Tolliver the hike to the lookout point is just a simple walking trail but if you go past all of the warning signs up onto the top of the rocks it’s very dangerous
