@DavidSmith-cr7mb You're going to open your own manufacturing company, and purchase the IPs from these companies, which are worth BILLIONS? Keep your feet on the ground man, you have no concept of what a billion is.
I just got back into playing hearthstone last week. I’ve already climbed to diamond 3 with the free hand buff paladin deck. I’d say it’s pretty f2p friendly
If you have modest goals, pick a few classes and stick to them, Hearthstone is very easily F2P. If you have unrealistic expectations of playing every deck for every class, you are going to be disappointed.
I'm an old player who recently started playing the game again and the game has a lot of improvements in card acquisition and with the legendary ones from the last expansion not having much relevance in the meta, I believe this would be the best scenario to start playing again, before the rotation.
In my experience, when I went back to hearthstone it takes one year of playing very few decks (3-4 classes). Then, the next year you can double that (7-8). After two years and a full rotation you can safely play any deck free to play. Obviously you have to sacrifice your wikd collection, but that is fine for f2p standard
I've grown up playing this game, played since whispers of the old gods while I was at school, on my teenage years I was side by side with hearthstone, battling IRL friends on the tavern, me and my friends saving up gold the whole expansion to buy some 80 packs of the next expansion and opening them together, even joining amateur small championships with my own homebrewed decks for some change and fun, I'd play up until Rise of Shadows, after that I tried returning to the game in sunken city and even got some of the old kick for the game back, but I've abandoned it definitely on Perils on Paradise, and seeing how the game is only getting worse for f2p players, specially when the prices rose astronomically on my country a few years ago thanks to the decision to make the costs on my region match strictly the currency conversion to dollars, not even mentioning the immense powercreep I hear about, I'm glad I left it, and I am ready to let it die, at least for me. I've spent a long time on the tavern and I had A LOT of fun, I think I'm supposed to be happy a company as bad as Blizzard made a game so magical and fun at the time, I'm glad it happened and I won't ever forget my years in the tavern, goodbye Hearthstone, and I hate you Blizzard.
@vitu7002 Yeah I got all the bad ones, the 5 mana turtle and the charge dino from druid, the big mech from warri that gives minis, the funny pala spell that makes a board of 3/2s, tyr, the demon hunter draenei who shuffles 4/4sa intoi the deck, dr stitchansew... I'm still missing the one that shuffles spores.
@@Herr_Damit i got the golden version of the spores one, i got signature k'ara, arquimonde, that demon from rogue and the 8 hands from DK, this frustrate, i'm bout to give up from this game, i really hope the miniset bring me happiness to play this game

just like nintendo banding, the game is programmed to give bad legwndaries first, to force you to still have to BUY PACKS to get the actual effextice and good legendary cards.
in that its better at bringing new players in via "hook habit hobby" while simultaneously disappointing them chronically to the point of manifested mental illness in their player base, but sure yea its f2p friendlier than it used to be youre not wrong.
Commenting before watching any of the vid. Yes. Yes it is. I've been F2P for years. I've made it to legend in wild and standard on numerous occasions using whatever cards I can access via packs earned on the track or dust from duplicates. I'm currently 7k in BGs without the rewards tracker. Sure, I invest a lot of time in the game, but I don't invest money. There is an argument to be made about whether P2W exists, because I would say it does for those who play casually and don't have the time or patience to grind for resources. But if you're willing to put in the work you can definitely have a "successful" experience without paying money
I think the monetization is fine. F2p casual players need to settle for 1-2 optimal decks at a time or several suboptimal ones. It's ok to play with decks that contain a few subs, ha is not only about competitiveness, but fun. And you certainly can have fun with f2p version of decks. Although the meta is kinda boring now, so not much fun - I'm sticking to twist. I like the current format.
