Love how your layout turned out with all the little squares and the UV coating pieces just add that extra something special. The acetate squares look so good on a layout.

Thank you! I pulled out a lot of scraps from different lines, and a bunch of cardstock scraps that I will dry emboss. I want to make a double layout with the diagonal set squares in my pet section of a photo album (like you had for the tough, strong boys)
The pets will be scrapbook style, in 12x12 page protectors and I found a muted colorful pawprint pattern I bought 10 pages of. Getting a of ideas in my mind. I'm finding a lot of scraps that will work well with the pawprint paper.
So nice to get back to scrapbooking again! It will use my paper up faster than making cards, I think. I hope! Some of my packs are almost 20 yrs old, but look nearly new. And I love mixing paper and ephemera from different lines. If they coordinate, why not?😊

Great layout and I love seeing your process and the tidbids of techniques. Do you see a benefit to using a 12x12 mat instead of a bigger one?
Thank you! It’s just personal preference I think. I like that my 12x12 layout fits perfectly in the grid. I also don’t like the lip of the mat being further out on my work surface so that I can have tools close by without the lip interfering, if that makes sense. 😂

Thank you! Yes, I sliced two images together, #M1011EF and #M4462D. I think they were from Art Philosophy and Artbooking back in the day. I am sure there are other eggs in Cricut but I don’t have the Access subscription.
I apologize if I missed this in the video, but are your photos 4x6 and 3x4? mThis layout is SO CUTE and the acetate is brilliant!
Yes they are. The mats are actually 4x6 and 3x4 and the photos are trimmed by 1/4” to fit.
I did the exact mosaic last night and had the same result. One strip was too narrow and one a bit too wide. Like I forgot how to measure.

When you're designing a page in DS do you just use a 12x12 square from the shapes option?
