Part 1 : Intention: as we uncover the meaning of each name, our connection will Allah should grow InshaAllah
Al Mumin - the one who grants security and safety
How does it connect to mumin (believer) and Allahs name Al mumin
Three root letters of the word: الف م ن: safety
Safety is not just physical safety but rather emotional and spiritual safety as well.
It’s an internal feeling - it’s also a freedom from fear.
Yes, we should fear the day of judgement but we shouldn’t be staying in constant state of fear.
Humans have different fears: we all have fears
One of the main things that we fear is death; the concept of being alone or judgement.
These are all points of vulnerability
What does it mean that there is going to be a sense of security even with the day of judgement awaiting us?
The nature of this world, the relationships is that it is unstable, Allah SWT is the constant. Hence we should keep our faith and trust in Allah. And trust is safety
“Truly God does not break his promise” You can trust Allah swt. Trust means safety
Having true faith is not just to call yourself as Muslims but rather it means to find security through God. Your world could be crumbling, by you feel secure that Allah is holding you - you will get through it. Allah will guide you through this trauma.
Allah is going to give you safety even if everything is being destroyed. If He swt brought you to it, He swt will get you through it. He swt doesn’t a burden a soul more than it can bear.

    Part 2
    Al mumin- protection from fear
Go back to the story of prophet moosa. When his mother realises that she has a son, the people of Firawn will come for the child.
Allah SWT comforts her don’t be gripped with fear.
Even after she put the baby in the river, she felt an emptiness and Allah says in the Quran that Allah strengthens her.
Hz moosa goes to speak to Firawn and he asks for Hz haroon. And Allah SWT comforts him and says I am with you. The same connection can be made in the story of prophet Muhammad sws and Hz Abubakr hiding from the disbelievers.
When fear strikes/grips your heart, remember Allah is with you.
Firawns wife is shown her house in Jannah upon being subjected to Pharoahs torture.
Sayyida Asiya is the person you look at when you are subjected to abuse from your loved ones.
    1. Allah will fulfill His swt promise. He will not keep you hanging
If this life is hard for you, Jannah is coming.
    2. Do not harm your neighbours. Don’t harm anyone.
    3. Be truthful. Your truth will give them security
    4. Guide others to safety.
