    Sub’d. what SMC pack(s) would you recommend in stock viper 90mm? One pack or 8s?

      Single packs Will make more power due to less wires and resistance.

    How did you black out the canopy?

      remove the canopy from the the foam then spray the inside your color of choice and then re glue back on foam

      on SMC 8S 7700 mah packs around 4:20-5:00 with throttle management

    Could you tell me more about this gps you have? And how its linked to thr NX u have? Iv been wanting to get speed on my NX10 for a while but only using a little module that I read once iv landed and looked at it. Would love speed on the fly. Cheers

      We are using the older, first version of the Spektrum GPS; which can be hard to find now. I cannot remember the part number. There are two newer models that work the same. The GPS module plugs right into the stock AR637. Screen reading is great on the NX10 and DX line; and now on the iX14, we have touch switch callouts with an even better layout than the NX line.

    M&M....Are you using the stock servos in this 90mm Viper 8cell set-up?

      Also, I need a left wing flap. Horizon won't sell just a flap.

    • @mmdynamics545
      @mmdynamics545  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, we are using stock servos. Planes are basically a stock ARF+.

      I hope the flap worked out well for you!

    What motor did u use?

    How many amps are you pulling 2000kv on 8s is impressive. How is the motor still running? I’d like to upgrade my viper to 8s soon.

      Well I’d like to say thank you so much for your comment. As for the KV of the motor and it’s still running. Most all motors are under rated you can always push them more Waymore than they are designed for with proper throttle management. The speed controller is a castle 200 which has a 330 amp insensitive setting. This pulls about 239 A. This plane still runs to this day. We finally got a max speed of 179.8 which we will be uploading soon with the same motor in a fairly steep dive. On 8S. Still pretty impressive.

      Trial and error will find you exactly where you need to be. Don’t let people tell you you need to run 12 S or 10 S. start running more weight Jet doesn’t like carrying that weight and Amps will go up. You have to stay lite to keep this plane or any plane very efficient.

      Brilliant thanks for the info, I will have a look at going 8s and using this set up.

      @@mmdynamics545 much appreciated. I will work out if I’m going 8s or 10s with my viper (need to work out the weight difference in the packs) and will be in touch. 👍👍

    So what esc are u running?

    • @mmdynamics545
      @mmdynamics545  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Castle 200 lite with the insensitive setting to 330. Only pulls 239 amps wide open.

      @@mmdynamics545 only 239A? That's a crazy amount!! Sure that's not mentioned to be 139A? Cheers

    • @mmdynamics545
      @mmdynamics545  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@M4rkmcc21 no it’s 239amps and with the esc and SMC BATTERIES with throttle management you won’t have problems.
