@@zbaksh101 There defiantly would be some challanges to work with, when translating the 11 from audio to the big screen. I think his trademark his former selves shining through will be the toughest thing to work with. Because how do you show it? Do you overlay create a bunch of faces (to avoid having to pay royalties to other actors whose faces you are using) and replace the actors face with those? Or do you go the Gollum route and just have Mark Bonnar create different expressions for the different voices? Personally i think the latter have Mark Bonner just switch up his facial expression when speaking with the other voices. Another though challange (and perhaps an even bigger one) is how to you make the 11 come across as someone whose actually scary? The biggest trap you can fall into is that if the 11 isn´t handled correctly you will end up with a joke of a villain, someone nobody can take seriously. That to me would be a big disappointment and pitty. The 11 isn´t meant as a comedic villain you point and laugh at. He is a dark reflection of the Doctor and when he enters the story even the doctor should be afraid and that should come across the story that this villain isn´t someone you can defeat with just waving the sonic screwdriver around or speak rope or something like that. Underestimate him and you WILL end up dead or worse.
@@zbaksh101 Well when you boil it down The Eleven is really a more advanced version of Andy Serkis´s Gollum. So maybe different camera angles and facial expressions for each persona. Sure it will take some work and pre-planning to really make the Eleven work. Its all really in the execution of how you do it, i think Peter Jackson might be one of those who knows how to do it. If i recall correctly he has expressed interest in the past of doing a Doctor Who episode.
I mean think about being 'The Eight' in this situation, trapped in there with 9 (going on 10), ruthless and evil incarnations that will never listen to him. To be the sane voice is a choir of madness, that only ever gets bigger.
@@JamesTobiasStewart yeah! i recently listened to "The Eleven" audio disc, and I'm pretty sure 8 was the only sane one. The Eleven ended up pushing / supressing the 8 away and could only hear the others. Eventually 8 managed to gain some control and ended up helping the doctor (the 7th i think, the one that rolls Rs)!! Same thing with the Union [next regeneration, women] she suppressed them ALL !
Mark Bonnar´s Eleven should really have his day in the spotlight in the actual show. Do some timey whimey stuff to pull the Eleven out of his timeline and into the current one. Would be cool to see Mark Bonnar go full scenery chewing as the Eleven.
It might be an unpopular opinion, but personally i didn´t really like the Twelve or the union (his/her 13th incarnation) they just seemed bland in comparison.
they tried, but during the Time War, the Time Lords gave the Twelve something that can suppress the personas, but she can call them when she needs them during combat. Even the Eleven (and his other selves during their time as hosts) tried to get rid of the voices, the Eight used meditation, but it sometimes gives him headaches, the Eleven seperated his personas into clones, but it was killing him because he was missing them, the Thirteen used some device and energy to suppress them, it worked, but without them, she lost the memories from their experience, and their key aspects, their attributes merged with her, like the Nine's obsessive collecting, the Seven's technical know-how, the Four's superiority and arrogance, etc etc. Hell, some of them don't even want to suppress the personas
Loved this story so much alongside this scene. Say, as an idea you think you could upload the scene where the 4th Doctor encounters Sutekh for the second time?
This story is great, there's at least one more scene from it that I want to upload. As for the scene with Sutekh, yes I can upload that clip. It'll probably be a few days, but it will likely be the next clip I upload
He is a villainous timelord whose previous incarnations live on inside his head, often fighting for control, his name is based on which incarnation he is, so there's also the Nine, the Eight, the Twelve etc.
Question: what is a really really good big finish story that you think I would like? Because I want to listen to one that isn't just like any Doctor Who story, like maybe crossover, about another character, ect
If you want a new take on the Doctor Who universe, the unbound series might be what you're looking for, they're alternate universe stories which feature new doctors, I'd recommend the story called "Full Fathom Five"
"The Doctor already has a greatest enemy. He doesn't need another."
That's such a great line.
Even though the line wasn't given to Missy, I wonder if it was a reference to Series 9: "No wait, hang on a minute. Davros is your arch enemy now?"
@@Jedi_Spartanwas literally just about to say what about Davros lol 😂
Fans: "Tennant had the saddest regeneration. 😢"
Me:
It baffels me how a concept as cool as the eleven didn't make it into the show.
The concept works better in audio but 11 and his cohorts the Doom Coalition would've been perfect for 12 and 13's era.

And you need to find an actor to play multiple personalities which is a difficult trait.
@@zacharyuy-tioco2539 We already have such and actor.
the guy who plays the eleven.
just get him to reprise his role.
this is actually such a bone chilling regeneration, like he legit doesnt want to leave and be shoved into back of the mind with the rest of them :[

I would love to see the eleven on TV. He's such a great character, and Mark Bonnar plays him brilliantly

That Regeneration was really haunting 💀 I wonder if we'll see anything like this in the show

@Erikjust they are fine takes but 11 is still the best.
It's literally like a Timelord suffering from DID, and it haunts me.
Mark is amazing
I'm often surprised given how powerful the Time Lords were they never cured the Eleven's condition

Can guess some of them but would love a breakdown for which of The Elevens previous selves is talking when.
could you upload anything with the Tweleve?
So I've not listened to many Big Finish, however, I'm curious to who the Eleven is. Can someone please tell me?

“The Doctor already Has a greatest enemy, he doesn’t need another…”
Tell that to Davros 😅 or The Daleks lol 😂.
Brilliant line delivery nonetheless xx
Has Derek Jacobi's face been plonked onto a really random body or is it just an awkward photo?
The former. There are no behind the scenes photos of Jacobi wearing that outfit - unlike McGann in the leather coat.

I just simply say listen to the 8th doctor adventures, or the Dark Eyes series. They're just fantastic storytelling
